^ rebranded Bostitch, glad i got one of those when i did for $120!

Stanley, Bostitch, Black & Decker, Dewalt, Porter Cable, and I think Delta and probably some others are under 1 parent company. I think thats why they cleared out majority of the bostitch nailers last year and replaced them with Dewalt.

They now have both the diablo 40T $15 and 24T $10 BOGO 2 packs. 24 is in race track for Fathers day specials, 40T in regular saw blade section.

I went in today to see if they had an finish nailers left and was refused kiosk computer access. I was told to go check the end caps when I asked about checking out clearance products. I walked around the store for a bout 45 minutes checking end caps and the top shelves.

Queensbury NY store. Funny thing is, not a single employee asked if they could help once I got beyond the main desk.

It's probably not a good store to hunt in, so I just will likely skip it. It's about 4 miles farther than the local Lowes. I did pick up 500' of 12/2 and 14/2 for garage wiring. I didn't like the looks of their panels.

Stanley Black & Decker Corporation currently owns the following tool brands:
  • Stanley
  • Black & Decker
  • DeWalt
  • Porter Cable
  • Mac
  • Vidmar
  • Proto
  • Facom
  • Bostich
  • Lista
  • some other weird/niche ones...

They used to own Delta, which Black & Decker acquired along with Porter-Cable from Pentair, before the Stanley and B&D merger. Delta was sold to a Chinese firm in 2011.

Nice, i guess they used to own and make Husky tools for Home Depot until Home Depot acquired Husky or at least that is what this old employee was telling me.

Some Stanly stuff is branded stuff. They allow others to use the Stanly name to slap on their product. They do it with flashlights, I think battery chargers and some other things.

Three knipex pliers dropped to 0.02 status in north DFW, and the knipex mini-bolt cutters were added to clearance, but are still around $49.97.

Crescent X2 needlenose pliers pack of 2have been down around 7.52 for a week around here.

If a clearance item I've purchased drops further, and I request a refund of the difference, what happens if it has pennied out already? I'm not anticipating or expecting that the service counter will give me the item for $0.01, but I'm wondering if they'll have trouble finding the last clearance price?

I know the answer to this must be here, but the thread has gotten so large, it would take hours to find it.

They don't do price adjustment or refund the difference on clearance items. Been covered many times here.

But they will do a return. Once you complete your return. Ask to buy it back. If it drop, it will ring up as lower price.

You can alway confirm on price check app to see if it penny-out or if it's still on the lower Price you want it for before you risk it ringing up as a penny.

My local HD *****. They guard the computers like they're gold. ALL of them. There are no customer computers. I asked an associate at customer service where I could find the computer to fill out an employment application and her reply, I kid you not, was "You don't have a computer at HOME?"

I've gotten 2 price adjustments in the past 2 weeks on clearance. 1 on the makita 36v saw and the other on the dewalt air compressor. They will do it just not when it hits a penny.

If anyone needs some z-wave/wink sensors, the GoControl/2Gig kits are at x.02

SKU 1001290777 3 door/window sensors, 1 motion sensor and 1 siren. $25.02 was $83.32
SKU 1001290771 2 door/window sensors and 1 motion sensor. $13.02 was $45.32

There are already 3 SD threads and 1 on the SmartThings forum about these.

The two other posts explained it well. Some stores will do a return rebuy for clearance items, some won't. I would not even think about it for penny item. You need to do it sooner than later for clearance items. Don't try to get the lower price for something you bought 2 months ago. They almost certainly will say no and you are risking them setting up a no price match, no return system for clearance items. Don't give them a reason to set those things up.

Also, ONLY do a return rebuy for things you really want and very sparingly, don't make it a standard option. I would only do it for things I am keeping for myself and only for items where the value/price change is significant.

Same experience for me. No issues until it hits penny.

I was able to pick up the pliers wrench for $13 but couldn't find any cobras. They show the side cutters for around $7 too but couldn't find any of them either.

Person helping forklift driver bring this down was not happy that I found it. He insisted that they had plenty on the sales floor, 16g one's and telling me that in the rafters that's all they had too. I told him I want the 6 gallon one and I see right there.

Actually my store does price adjustment on clearance items. You got 2 weeks after purchased and only if it is not a huge difference in price clearance. Never had a problem, but they won't do penny adjustment.
