And axle hub nuts. Yeah, I've noticed.
Muffler bearing nuts can be a real pickle too sometimes (that's why I recommend a pickle fork on them).

I was joking a out that with a fellow tech last year and he pointed out that there is a such thing as a muffler bearing. Some sort of pivot design. I don't remember a vehicle reference so it may still be fake.Muffler bearing nuts can be a real pickle too sometimes (that's why I recommend a pickle fork on them).

I've never seen cars butchered worse than by some dreamer who thinks he knows best, working in his driveway, because he "cant trust mechanics!"
....I just did a wheel bearing on my wife's Equinox, and the bolts had a 13mm 6 point head. Probably about M10 bolts? They're high grade but not indestructible. ....
Subaru also list a muffler bearingExhaust gaskets from Toyota a others can be listed as muffler bearings. They need to be between spring bolts typically.
If there was ever a time I wish we could like a postI remember the first time i worked on a car too.
Any way do what they told me on my first day in a flat rate shop.
Squat down, grab the string and pull that tampon out and get the job done.
Also, I’ve done this job a few times it’s not that hard, if i did have access issues I’d use a long 3/8 rat to break it loose.
