If he is a member here did he not think one of us would find it? I mean really just about all of us look for tools daily on ebay. If he is a member he should be banned even though it did not happen here. I went and looked a my old TM737 and it looked nothing like it either.

Greed does funny things to people... I was ready to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he bought it from someone else without knowing. I even commented on the odd looking "O" on the Snap On logo thinking there might be a batch of Chinese counterfeit tools making the rounds. Until someone caught him red handed buying bare handles.... Hard to explain that. :(

He's here now..... I sent him a pm to bring this to his attention. I may be fairly new here but one thing that gets my blood boiling is a ******* thief, especially when it's someone a good group of guys like this has trusted for a long period of time. :sad:

Even though the listing was pulled, you can still go back to the original link and file a report on it. Better to do something to try and weed out bad sellers than let someone get away with fraud.

It's been pulled, I wonder how long has this been going on. He sells in the classifieds too, but I noticed he always list the ratchet #, not on these 1/4.

I would say he knew, the purchases of the handles made it simple, also he buys and sells so he would have noticed it.

I'll resist from making any assumptions about the Member or his intentions, but it doesn't look good. I would hate to go thru life knowing my reputation hinged on trying to beat someone out of $60, Karma is not always your friend.

I don't like to accuse but in the past we have had some bad apples it happens in every group of people, from collecting stamps to die cast cars etc.

Could we at least send him a pm and see what he has to say before we string him to a tree; Maybe it was an honest mistake...

Wow, I was really chalking it up to an oversight until the buying bare handles came into play. Someone with his experience selling tools knows better. For whatever reason I've always held the members here in a higher regard. I still want to hear his side of the story, but if this is what it looks like he should be banned.

Well he just responded to my PM and tried to tell me he bought it like that at a flea market & told me to go **** myself. I'm done. He's aware of this thread. I'd love to see the spin he tries to put on this after being busted buying bare handles... I made an effort to make him aware of this thread so he could address the issues raised here. His response was to attack me because of HIS bad behavior ? He can FOAD !! I'm done. Over and OUT !

Trust me it's true. I don't know the guy, have no reason to make **** up about the guy, and my word is as good as gold. I may be fairly new here but I'm a long time member of MANY other websites including the HAMB, Ebay, & lots of others ALL with this same name I've used for 15 years. If a mod has the ability to read PMs they can feel free to do so as well. How do I do a screenshot ? LoL if I do you gotta tell the kids to look away.. I wasn't real polite.

I reported it. I hope Ebay has some way of banning the jerkoff. Nothing worse than a lying thief.....pisses me off even more when they are on here!

Anyone with an Ebay account should report both items, maybe this will send a message and the poor sap that bought the first one might get some sort of compensation.
