What a dumbazz. At least mark what you bought "private".
Seriously, this was wrong though.

Camarotoolman, couldn't it be easier to just scam Snap-On directly, then sell the real thing??? LOL
(Seriously, don't do that):shocking:

Even happens on here:

Post #20....this douchebag thinks its a great idea to find "SUCKERS"

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=94161

Well... nothing really crossing the line when you sell something for more than it "should" be worth as long as the item is genuine and is not misrepresented. Last I checked Rent-a-center is still in business despite the fact the crazy ripoff pricing... never catch me in there though and for sure not behind the counter :lol_hitti

This is a beautiful example of why I love this community, just how the topic came up, people figured it out, gave the guy a chance even, and he blew it. Classic, but a win for the community.

Considering I run a camaro/firebird forum, I'm going to share this over there due to the username of the perp. And I can pretty much guarantee it's going to get spread to larger Camaro based forums from there.

I had a good friend who was a Rent-A-Center manager. Those guys get some smokin deals on repos. Let's say you buy a widget on payments that cost the store $400. You price was $600 on payments.. You paid $350 on the pay as yo go plan & then you stopped & the repo guys came & took it. Guess what the managers can buy it for ? The 50 bucks that was owed on the COST, not on the financed price.

what an enlightening thread. It seems the truth has finally come to light that both HF and Duralast make Snap-On ratchets after all. I cant wait to see whats on tomorrows episode of "As Garage Journal Turns".

What a flipping shame. Another member tarnishing their reputation over a few bucks and, at the same time, making it harder on everyone else legit that tries to sell in the community. I guess it proves that post count doesn't really mean jack sometimes, and that people's integrity sometimes has a very surprisingly small price tag. :dunno:

I agree with everyone else here: :banhim:

Skin No,No,No...It 's "As the Wrench Turns".

Not so fast, you'll get sued by PBS in no time. :lol_hitti

As The Wrench Turns was the short-lived, terrible cartoon starring the Car Talk guys, Tom and Ray. The show was quickly cancelled.

I like Car Talk, but the show was terrible, from what I remember. I'm only judging it on the portion of one episode I saw, but that was enough for me.

No ears already pointed out as can be seen in his buyer feedback that he bought the 2 handles for the 2 harbor freight ratchets he sold and was trying to sell on 12/18

Those are the 2 handles on the the 2 ratchets.

wow. this thread has went to the moon and back in a matter of hrs.

while i in no way defend the actions of the person in question, i may have to pirate th idea for myself on my HF ratchets, i hate the mac handles that come on them. also like painter's duralast a few threads back.

Back to the debate, sorry.

He should have just been honest. But he can't even say the handle is a real snap on. That guy messed up. Not defending himself looks even worse. He needs to do some soul searching.

I co-own/founded ltxtech.com for the 92-97 Gen II cars. Only have about 4k+ members but its very niche. Guarantee what I linked will get spread to the likes of ls1tech, camaroz28, etc.

This is very disappointing, I have not had any dealings with him directly, but he was a garage journal member and I would have expected more from him. Oh well life goes on, but it will be interesting seeing how this all turns out. I would like to here his response, but I have a feeling he will be too afraid of the wrath of GJ members. Some are trained in the Pirate4x4 ways!
