1 1/16 is 5/8" heavy pattern size. Used extensively on Massey Ferguson tractors.
Oh yes, I had forgotten that since I traded up to John Deeres!. There's still quite a bit of machinery around using 5/8" heavy fasteners. :)
It's also so close to 27mm that it's useful for the metric fine thread 16mm fasteners (which I believe is what the newer Defenders have).

I use them for 27mm stuff on Toyotas and out John Deere stuff all the time. They’re the exact same, but you can find lightly used 1-1/16 sockets much easier and cheaper than 27mm.

I found some Snap-on and Blue Point items at an estate sale yesterday. The little screwdriver with the magnet and pocket clip I found amusing. It has the standard warning that the screwdriver shouldn’t be used as a pry bar or chisel! It does seem to have a small bend.

The 9/16” 12 point socket is dated 1956IMG_0199.jpeg

The Blue Point DOE wrench is dated 1956 as well.IMG_0220.jpegIMG_0221.jpeg

Dug this out of a collapsing leaking shipping container on Saturday. Various other goodies acquired as well and I'll be cleaning those up eventually. Decided to go through it and clean it up as I had Monday off and then finished it up this evening.

Its the L78 1-1/2" Drive 42" Ratchet, and this one has the original handle too. The body was stained and in rough shape so I elected to paint it. The internals were black oxide but the body appeared to be uncoated.

1934 Snap on rat. model 71A. NO-RPL. Never seen one. usually the no-rpl shows up in early 40s tools, but never a rat.
Has number 44 stamped on it, probably a owners marking, but not sure.
Had to repair, new paw ball, Had to replace the selector switch, used a common nail.
Found a no71 with a NO-RPL I think it's a 34 as well. I'll have to look. Guy wants too much but pretty interesting

Cross posted from another thread

Somebody just bought Snap On K60 missing handles for bigger drawers and with black respray from Farmington CT for $200 !!!

Guy promised to send few more pictures last night (told him I want few more pictures (to make sure hinges are not broken - 2+ hour drive from me...) and am ready to drive today in AM to pick it up...)

Whoever bought it - hopefully one of our members - CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Thank you. That was me. I drove 6hrs round trip to get that. I just jumped in here now looking for some information on finding handles. It had one original handle made of what looks like plastic .

Finally snagged a late 40s early 50s KR-300 with extra drawers. The stamp doesn't appear to be in the usual place. Could be that it was lightly stamped.
Lots of grease stains, but the paint brightens up with bronze wool and light oil.
A couple of the drawers a stiff, and I don't yet know if it just needs a cleaning or if the slides are damaged. They still make slides for a box this old, right?

At yesterday’s estate sale, I spotted this Snap-on DOE grind off. Whoever did the grinding wasn’t very thorough. The date code indicates that it was made in 1958. IMG_0865.jpegIMG_0866.jpegIMG_0868.jpegIMG_7461.png

Here's one similar to yours I got from an auction but instead of extra draws it is missing some draws,

Snap on R-1-1/2 extension adaptor. Has the Snap on name, and model number, no date code, probably late 30s or early 40s.
is 1/4 dr on one end and 9/32 dr on the other. made to fit in a refrigeration ratchet. These are quite rare.
