Whats the best price anyone's found for the HF table? I see coupons for $300, though I thought I've heard of guys getting them for less.

They often have the $299 lift (priced on sale) and you can sometimes get a 20% coupon to go with it.

I got mine, air/hydraulic that was extra (no longer available), 6 years ago for $239 on sale with a coupon. It has been great4

I just LOVE the look of the flush mounted lifts...
I know it's a little silly, but has anyone cut one into their existing slab?

I'm sure I'll never do it....or will I!?!?!?!

:headscrat...Um...look back about 6 posts....or better, click the link in my signature. Wasn't too bad, really.

I was going to cut mine into the floor, but because it swings 360 degrees, I didn't want to limit what position I could lower it to.

Got it used for $1000. (B.O.B. 1500# Lift) It has a extended front extension too that I took off and is not shown. (about $2500.00 if bought new.)

I use mine year round. I really like having a work surface to lay tools and parts on and not have to worry about kicking them across the room. Next summer I plan to replace the wheel chock with a much stronger unit.

That looks like the Titan 1500XLT in your picture. Is it?

I ask because I am likely to pull the trigger on one tomorrow. Is it a nice lift? Any issues? Would you buy it again?

Thanks.

It's good lift. Using the foot pump is a bit of work but with the air hooked up its quick. I got it because it's 54" wide with the extensions and with sleds you need at least 54 and not 48" like most are. My only complaint is the front chock. It's OK but bottoms out on narrow tires. To be fair most of the lifts I looked at had a similar chock.

Not technically a lift, but it raises the bike up to work on it. Not anywhere close to being finished yet, but it's serviceable. Wheels fold out when the bike's on it, and you can lift it up onto the wheels to move around when the bike isn't on.

I have a HF one that I paid $100 for about a month ago. Guy selling it on craigslist said it just wouldn't work. He only had one pedal connected (the lowering pedal) and he was pumping away on it expecting it to raise. He had the other pedal, just didn't connect it. Weird people out there. I LOVE this lift. The wheels move so easy that I can have a bike on it and still move it around the garage easily if needed as long as the leveling screws are raised up. All the pivots points have grease *******, very well made tool.

Second one is what I built about 7 years ago. You use a floor jack to lift the back and the whole table lifts by cantilever. It has two locking position, first is about 1 1/2 ft and the second is about 3 ft, same as the HF model. I have the plans I used if anyone is interested. It has castors on the side so you can flip it over and roll it up against the wall to save space if needed.

Thanks for the info! Bought it today (black) and I am going to go pick it up on Monday. Found a dealer that sells them at a very low profit margin. I got a brand new one picked up at the distributor (including wheel vise) for $500 less than anywhere else I saw it listed.

I need the 54" width as well because my wife rides a trike that is 51" wide. Looking forward to setting it up and putting it through its paces.

Thanks again.

I got mine used from the markdown section of Harbor Freight for $50. They said it didn't lift but it was just low on fluid.

Afraid you wouldn't be too interested in my milk crate collection. GF and I have been on a Super Moto kick lately (DRZs) so not much needed. Her last bike was a Anniversary Dyna Glide Lowrider. Don't think the crates would have worked to well.

That's what I thought. Maybe I'll quit being a cheap A$$ and pick on up... Then again I do have unlimited access to sheet and tube steel, along with CNC lasers and press breaks...

Titan 1500-XLT Motorcycle Lift Table (1500lb capacity). Best price found was upwards of $1500+ without the optional wheel vise (another $100). Then, found a middle-man wholesaler who, I guess, takes a very low profit on each one he sells. Volume pays him, as he told me he moves 15-20 of these a week. Pretty nice gig for him, he never has to touch the lift. You give him your credit card, he buys it from the distributor (at his much better price), and then you go pick it up (or have it shipped for more $$$). All he has to do it contact the distributor and fax over the bill of sale, along with who it's for.

I got it for over $500 less (with wheel vise included) than the next best price I found. We went to Indiana and picked it up today.

This lift has 1500 lb. capacity and is 102" long and 51" wide. Air over hydraulic. Will fit my wife's trike very well too.

It looks sweet! Now you get to make it dirty. The posts in the back are not as study as I would like them to be but they do the job. I just bought a redline wheel chock and plan to install it this weekend.

Have fun

I like your idea with the wheels folding down like that. Tried a couple of concepts in the past that didn't work. I'd be a little worried about supporting the structure, looks like a push on the bike front or backwards might flatten the bench. Do you plan some diagonals?

Nice lift! I love all the floor space it doesn't take up.

Thanks Slackerzinc! I definitely considered all my options but with as small of a garage, there was only one solution in my mind. I wish I would have spent the time to bury it in the slab and make a 1/4 steel plate to cover it though. I find myself working around that deck plate and cleaning it very often. I will definitely be taking that lift with me if and when I move to a new house or shop!

Here is my harbor freight lift. I bought it as a returned item missing a few pieces for $50

I added a removable wheel chock from northern tool.

I modified a ramp I had laying around so I could roll bikes on and off either end of the lift.

I put some carriage bolts on the front of the lift. These touch the floor with the lift down and act as "kickstands" so the lift doesn't do a wheelie when you put weight on the front.

I am patiently waiting to find a deal on a piece of stainless for the top. I am not a fan of the diamond plate and it can cause issues with wheeled bike stands.

I sold the HF lift I showed in post#62, now I have this one. Can also raise both platforms in parallel for automotive use.

I really like the setup and the idea of having it flush with the floor when not in use. But I think I would end up stepping at least partially into the hole while working and mess up my ankle or something.

Honestly, it's really an automotive lift. The only reason it works for my bike is because it has a center stand. The platform is not long enough without it.
