Here is my KRSC40 i got a few months ago. Really impressed by it. Great cart. Very well built but thinking of trading it in for a KRSC46. The big deep bottom drawer is wasted space to me. Only good for my cases or big corded tools. Would rather two smaller drawers.

i said the same thing when i got my 46. then i filled it with cased stuff till i can just barely shut it. its a love hate thing i guess. i just wish the top drawer was two thinner drawers for wrenches and drivers, kinda of a waste to put those in a 3 inch deep drawer.

Where did you find the magnetic bars at?

I bought them at McMaster-Carr years ago, I bought six of each length, one of my co-worker's wife worked there, hence a huge employee discount. Through her I bought over $4K worth of Starrett and Mitutoyo and 8 Gerstner tool boxes:bounce:

I'll have to post an updated photo, I've added a lot more wrenches since taking that pic.

The tool trucks sell them, restaurant supply places (for knives), ikea, hell I think even harbor freight sells them.

I use them to store crowfoot wrenches in my main toolbox.

Pics are kinda crappy, the flash on my phone is screwed up. :lol_hitti

Still building my 1/2" chrome+impact and 3/8" impact sets... but I'm getting there!

The bottom drawer was swapped out for the bulk storage. I use it for the pry bars, face shield, and my shoes! Gonna ask my SO guy how much it'll hurt to put in 2 or 3 drawers on the bottom instead of the storage.... would be way more useful.

PS: My last name is Peterson, and my family has been collecting antique Caterpillars for decades.... coincidentally, there's a Cat dealer in Oregon named Peterson Cat.... how fitting

I knew somebody would ask about them

Saw them in the SnapOn catalog and ordered 2 the next time I saw my guy. They are great... I love them. The whole thing is magnetic so it holds the wrench but also does not move in the drawer at all. My only gripe is that you can't get them in reversible configuration... but it's not a big deal.

I clicked on those links ready to buy them because they looked great until I saw the price! I was expecting 20 bucks or so a piece but not 40. Look really nice but 80 bucks is a little much for me.

Might seem like a dumb question, but Ricleh, who makes the oil can in your pic, and who sells them? Looks very neat, only seem to stumble across cheapo, useless, leaky jobs around my neck of the wood, and your at least looks to have none of those features!
Thanks for any info.

The oiler is a Reilang purchased from Jens Putzier (jensputzier) who is a member here with a tool business in Germany. He is a very good guy to do business with.

HF unit. Good quality item! I did not need it but for about $71 I had to get one. The best thing about it was that it gave me something to do with the pile of quality tools I had too many of. Beats them lying in a box or selling them for pennies on the dollar.
I like the design of my orange Kennedy (now used as a wall unit) better, but the HF is just as much of a quality item.

2 years later this black only HF rolling cart is on Blue Tag Sale for week of Black Friday thru 11/30/11 for 149.00. It's bigger brother is red only and on sale for 199.00 thru 11/30/11. The bigger one is one more drawer has hydraulic struts for lid and is physically bigger. Both seem very sturdy and are about a 100.00 cheaper than normal.

This HF rolling tool cart, US General (the big brother) is red only and on sale for 199.00 thru 11/30/11. The bigger one has one more drawer(5) has hydraulic struts for lid and is physically bigger. The smaller brother a black only 4 drawer HF rolling cart with mechanical top stays is on Blue Tag Sale for week of Black Friday thru 11/30/11 for 149.00. Both seem very sturdy and are about a 100.00 cheaper than normal. Early Xmas gift for me! Side mounted magnetic can and screwdriver holders are separate and I believe there is a magnetic paper towel holder available. Cart has ample screwdriver secure vertical stowage.

Heres my cart. I got it second hand, and it seems to be a HF style cart. Either way, it gets the job done for now.

I always feel as though I'm really lacking in tools for what I use them for, but I'm happy with what I've got so far.

Damn! you just won the lotto! Nice, fresh tools. Not even air fittings installed yet! Congrats!

I actually had them for a long time, just have not used yet. :lol_hitti Also I use tools cleanly.

Great cart!

I would really like to see a little more of that KRA 5311!
What are your thoughts on it?

Only downside is the depth length. It's wide and top drawer is super deep, almost 5inch I think.

It´s because of the depth I want it, my garage is a little cramped, so the classic 78 will take up to much of the space I think.
But I would like the KRA 5311 instead of the 26" Snap-on top and bottom that I have now, I would really like to have a work surface on top.

Btw, would it be possible to see some pics inside that deep top drawer!?
