Any chance you have a Milwaukee m12 tool to check with as well?

Sorry I don't, but looking at pictures online, the contacts and the shape appear to be very similar, but there would certainly be modifications needed at the base where the battery snaps into the tool.

Just a little follow up, this is the Skil battery in the Bosch tool after slight trimming. Not a perfect fit (could have been better if I took more time cutting), but it does snap in securely like it should. Used it for several hours assembling some cabinets I'm making for my wife.

Not bad for a $5 battery.

Nice find, All my stores are showing $12.98 online.
mine is $12.98 also,
How are these bits though, $12.98 don't seem like a bad price, but so me of the reviews at Lowes, not so good?

decent quality. work great in wood. metal, not so much. chipped a bit. coating wore off very fast. haven't attempted to sharpen them. the only situation the drill bit set would be a good buy is if you needed all the sizes and only using them once.
bottom line, there the same as harbor freight's 29 piece set in a different case along with black and decker.

Cons Low quality, Not durable

This is an average drill bit set with conventional index. Nothing too special.

Pros fair

I've used some of mine in steel, at least two or three sizes several times, no issues..as for coating wear off, at most on chisel edge..maybe some..

I bought the Kobalt SS 6 drawer, 27" tool cabinet and SS 5 drawer, 27" tool chest to go on top this weekend. Both on clearance, they are going to a flush drawer pull design so the previous model (only difference is the handle) are on clearance.

The cabinet was $159(the new version of this is $469)!! The tool chest is market down to $210, I got a scratch and dent display for $120 (the new version is $330)!!

I more or less agree with this.

I bought these several months back when they first went on sale and have used several of them so far. They dull quickly and need to be sharpened frequently, sometimes before the first use. The smaller sizes are easy to bend with moderate force and are easy to break. They are a cheap, light-duty bit, worth about what the sale price is, IMHO. Not griping, but they are what they are.

Skil is owned by Bosch, that is why the batteries are compatible. These will not work in Milwaukee tools, and could damage the tool and/or battery if attempted.

Yeah based on this I would say the HF 29 pc Ti-coated set is a better value.

Also replace blade 5-packs are 50 cents
I bought a couple and six packs of blades. I need these like a hole in the head but... You know how it is. They also had a bunch of Kobalt plier and light pouches for $1.00
I bought four of them for $1.12 each. That was all they had.

Got this for $1.80 today. Didn't really need it, but for the price I figured it may come in handy at some point.

That's a great set to throw in a kitchen junk drawer for wife use.

I'm making her a "tool" kit for her self. I had to teach her, when you are done with a tool you put it back. Needless to say she got mad when she found out I locked the tools up. We've been married a month :lol_hitti

Bosch does not manufacture all their own tools. My portaband is the exact same as the Masterforce. Many of the batteries between brands are the same, minus slight differences to make them "not work".

On the 12v line at least, the Milwaukee and Bosch are pretty different though.

The 5 Pack lennox reciprocating saw blade set with case (pretty nice) is now down to $7.98 at the stores in my area. Best bang for the buck at the moment in saw blades, being that it comes with a handy storage case, which i was able to fit into my milwaukee 15 amp sawzall case with relative ease... for those wanting to know.

Also, the Montana brand bits (MADE IN USA) are also down to $7.98

Thanks also. I had a few of the Harbor Freight motorcycle ones but couldn't bring myself to leave them unattended. I grabbed 3 of these for our seldom driven vehicles. I'll be much happier to leave these on for a week or so andnot worry.

I picked up this set a few months back for $5 or so...Very useful. The telescoping mirror thing helped me a ton when trying to diagnose a clogged washing machine. Let me see into the intake hose holes w/o moving the machine. I'd pay $5 just for that mirror and telescoping arm.

Fred works for Lowes, could you get as lucky as him? maybe, but doubtful.

From my dealing with them no... every store is different, some will price match clearance others hell no and they get pissed when you ask lol. I've tried 10 different local stores since the other thread started last year.

Some the employees will hide the deals, others they are clues less to them. Lowes is all ways a YMMV deal.
