That's the store I bought mine from. Just happened to be there on business and said what the hell I will go in and see if they have anything left. Got one or $20.

Long arm allen wrenches for a buck at stores that have them in stock that I can see.
Kobalt 10-Piece Flat End Hex Key Set Item #: 24827
I use them everyday at work including using a cheater bar on the larger sizes. They have held up very well.

I'm always amused by the clearance prices. I saw the long arm hex wrenches locally on sale for $2.59. Cool! Wait, what's list price? $2.79? Oh. 20 cents off? Meh.... nah. Don't need them.

I found one welding helmet on sale at $89.98! Awesome! It was 1 cent discounted from full list price. I should have bought a dozen at that clearance price!

I don't get it and it kinda ticks me off! Why would they do that?

Funny, I had seen those online the other week. Son was running down there told him to stop by, but he didn't have time with the other stuff he had going on. HAHA

Stopped at a Lowes on NC Outer Banks, but no luck on pliers. Picked up 4 blades for DW recp. saw. All for around 2.25 each. 2-6 inch Kobalt round 6 in files for 1.00 each.
Stopped in my local store in MD today, again no pliers, but picked up a set of the Kobalt
10 piece Long Arm in metric. No SAE on display. Paid 1.15.

Dude the Lowe's store in Davie FL had 6 of those on the upper rack, I could see them from the bottom. Grabbed a Electrical conduit bender and knocked one down. There Web site for that location said 19.99, scanned it down to 13.98 not a deal like yours I got one but will go back in a week and see if they go down. You got a steal. The lowest price on Ebay was 14 bucks with free shipping and it had 12 bids and a day to go. You can sell them all and make good money on them.

Those have been on a sale a long time - I doubt its clearance. It seems like a useful tool but I don't really have a need for those features with what I do so I passed on it.

They have been "clearanced" at my lowes for months as well for $29.99. Not online either. :dunno: I have no need, and WAY to expensive to just try IMHO. Actually IIRC lowes has a few other misc random channellock clearanced the same way.

I could use those Channellock Rescue Cutters at work. The open square end is to shut off nat gas valves on the meters and a pry bar. The other handle end is a hook spanner to tighten fire hose. While I'm positive the cable cutters would cut quite well, I'd prefer to have some insulation on the grips, even when cutting car battery cables.

That's probably one of the better prices I have seen on them.

Qm2,
It would be helpful if your profile had your location, or if you gave the zip or something in your post.
Thanks,
Shep

Those are $29.99 in the hand tool clearance section at my Lowe's. In the months that they've been there, there have always been six of them. None have been sold, I assume because firefighters don't shop at Lowe's.

I got mine online, never seen them at Lowes. Wrapped the handles on mine with some grip tape for some grip and insulation. always have a pair in my bunkers. Just talked my Captain into ordering a few to keep on the truck.

Yea you might be right LOL. Guess in six more months when the dust gets really layered on thick they'll go down to 19 bucks or so.

Yesterday I went to the closest Lowe's that their website said had that Fluke meter. It still had $125 listed when I had my area code in there, but I used the zip code from PA (I think) listed a few pages back, and it showed the $20 price. The dept manager would have matched the price, but he said that they haven't had the Flukes for a while. They now carry Southwire meters, and he said they quite carrying Flukes because they kept getting stolen. My thought and statement to him was "Well lock them up!"...

After talking with him, he said that he'd work a deal for me on one of the meters they had in stock. I mentioned that the true RMS on the Fluke was a big thing for me (ok.. so maybe it wasn't REALLY a big deal, but still need it occasionally). The only Southwire that had that listed was the most expensive one there, at either $120 or $130 (can't remember). After a bit of talking, I was able to get it for their cost of $63.21 MINUS the 25% off coupon from Harbor Freight I showed them on my phone. Walked out the door for right around $50.
http://www.lowes.com/pd_464291-295-...=1&currentURL=?Ntt=southwire+meter&facetInfo=

I also really wanted a $3 pair of Knipex pliers, but they were out at that Lowe's. He said they just ran out, and pulled the tag down. The store 7 miles down the road had a few pair left, but my power steering pump pulley decided to separate itself from the car on the way there. I aborted the additional stop, and limped home on just battery and no PS. After spending $125 at Radio Shack, $150 at HF, and $50 at Lowe's yesterday (when I planned on spending about $75 all day), it was probably better that I didn't make it to another Lowe's! It also let me do my first repair work on my new TIG and a few other metalworking tools, and I'll be dammed if that thing ever comes off!

Just bought the 2 flukes at the store by me at $40 each. Should work nice to replace my crappy multimeter.

Generate a coupon code here to make it slicker.

http://slickdeals.net/f/6308322-new...20-off-10-off-50-20-off-100-30-off-150-10-off

Also, there is a $10 off $50 in the mydeals section of your Amex card website if you have one.

Net, was able to apply a $10 off $50 coupon plus the Amex $10 off $50 to make each Fluke $30.

I was walking through Lowes yesterday and I noticed the new tools. If you are looking for the deals, the old Kobalt stuff has blue and gray rubber. The new stuff has blue and black. May not ring true for all items, but everything I saw them putting on the shelves had the black accents.
