I just found this thread Lot's of good info. I saw the 72" masterforce box and I thought it was a great box for the money $1500. I had been looking at the HF 72" box $1199. I never pulled the trigger on the HF box because I know I used to see them on sale at times for $999, so I waited. While looking at the Masterforce I thought the quality and drawer lay out wee better for me. As and added bonus you have color choices. Well I found a reason to go there on black Friday and the 72" masterforce was on sale for $999. I had to have it now that it was discounted $500.00. I really like it. I did see the Montezuma 72 in the store. It was a good deal, but as mentioned on here it was light duty. So right next to that display was a Sentinel 64 gun safe $1400 regular price $750 sale price. Yep I got one of those too. Instead of buying the wood or stainless top for my new Masterforce box I used a livestock stall mat that had. It came from tractor supply for about 30.00. It was 4x6 so I cut it down the middle. The other half will go on the floor in front of my metal lathe. I guess my reason for posting was to say watch for that masterforce box to go on sale and compare one to an HF box for yourself. I think they will sell a lot more of them.
Is the masterforce really that much better than the HF 72"? I only ask because I am in the market for one, and my menards does not stock the 72", so I haven't got to "feel it up". I have to play with the HF 72" because my store has it on the floor. I like the full width drawers better on the masterforce, but also like the big deep drawer on the HF. Any insight would be appreciated thanks guys.
What about overall usable drawer depth on the masterforce? TBH I don't even remember seeing a 56" on display at my menards, only the smaller ones. And even those aren't any deeper than my old HF 44". I guess what I'm trying to say is, I want something that has the drawer depth in looking for, and again, my only real reference is the HF 72 because my menards doesn't carry the 72, order only. Thanks
And I do really like the latch system and the full length drawers on the MF.

How are these shingles? We need to do our roof in spring, would it be worth picking these up in advance? I tried googling the topic, but answers varied greatly.
The only drawer that loses a bit of room is the top drawer the big one. All the other drawers are flush. You loose maybe 1 1/2-2 inches. Best purchase to date. Also the lifetime warranty is nice.

Grime boss wipes are great for after doing work in the garage.
Good deal on kitty litter too.

- PaulThe 3/8" 4x8 sheets of LP SmartSide are just about half price after rebate. Really good deal if you need them.
I was thinking about having my house re-done in this cement 'sheet' siding. I currently have vinyl and the wind and weather has tattered it over the last 15 years. Can anyone recommend this for standing up to the elements (wind especially)
If you leave a couple Grime Boss wipes in with the kitty litter box, is your cat truly self maintaining?
Yes, I am a dog person, so any cat based humor is fair game.- Paul
I find it strange that the Smartside panels are only listed with a one year warranty. The normal Smartside warranty is 5/50. 5 years parts and labor covered 100% and prorated materials only for the remaining 45 years.
Ha it's a good thing I forgot to mention about the free super glue. No limit either.
- PaulWould those smartside panels be good to cover top of a sound but ugly looking deck with? Cheap way to upgrade to composite wood deck? Seriously?! Thoughts? - Paul
