Here's my correspondence with the seller:
Q: Can you clear this up for all of us who purchased one - how did you go about getting this? Former dealer that got a crazy good deal on excess inventory?
A: I am actually not making profit, I am just trying to recoup the cash flow we injected in this whole welder inventory... Miller is offering goodies and rebates to promote their dealer network, I don't want to get into a fight with them by selling all those welder close to retail.
Not sure I understand the justification.
So essentially he's selling them under the table because he doesn't want to honor the rebate (which isn't even paid out of his pocket)?
