Haven't met any Canadians that use the term "cheers". Mostly a European or Aussie term. Could be wrong but don't tell my wife.

I am not sure if the eBay account was hacked, or if he/she started from scratch and created fraudulent history. I'm not eBay, so I don't have the access to determine that.

But based on the seller's PayPal address and the fact it's all these "too good to be true" deals, I'd give it a 98% probability that it's a scam.
How'd you get his Paypal address?

I'm not gonna jump on the scam wagon just yet. It's possible he's just selling them off at cost so he can get those new inverter style welders...

I bought a brand new MM180 with a cart for under $400 several years ago...so it's possible

The seller has been a member on eBay since February 2014, that seems to be quite a while if he is a scam mer.. Unless of course his account was hacked.

I am really tempted to put in an offer though, either way..

Check out the shipping rates to other countries...there is no way in hell you can ship that to Australia, Czech Republic or anywhere overseas for $50. That welder is 87 pounds.

Shipping would likely be >$500

Something isn't right here for sure.

I just looked up shipping. Going fedex ground from Massachusetts to Florida is $85

From Florida to Perth Australia is $900...lol

Net-shopping.com is hosted in Zurich. I don't know about you but I don't think my email is hosted in Switzerland...

Sorry guys, not sure this is gonna turn out how you wanted. Hopefully you're covered with PP or CC.

I was waiting to see if the tracking listed a weight as well.

Not sure how volume sellers work, but when I sell I have to wait until a few days after its delivered before PP releases it. Which is why I try to stay away from selling on ebay. Plus the 10%

I kinda figured it was a 50/50 shot. But its seemingly more in the negative outcome. I won't be waiting long to file a dispute.

One new review was posted from a sale on 4/22. For a 211.

That could be another fake account or a hacked account or they did a few legit sales just to get people on the hook.

This one will get interesting. I have seen ebay handle little guys, but this is going to be huge. I am guessing they have sold close to 100k in just the miller welders. Then there are the plasma cutters, my guess is they are in for a couple hundred grand of refunds.

Are you serious? I just googled it and didn't find any scam scam stuff.

I found a bunch as well. Not sure what you googled.
There's a net-shopping email address on this list.

I'm 99% sure at this point it's a scam. The marking shipped with no tracking number is also a big clue. Crappy thing is you can't even open a case with EBAY until the item is supposed to have arrived. So, your money is *******, and you just have to sit back and wait.

Net-shopping.com's website is hosted in Zurich, only because it's a domain parking company and that's their location. The email is hosted in the US by GMX, which is the same email provider used in the scams years ago.

PayPal is a complete pain in the *** even for legitimate sellers, my guess is these funds get held up. Look at the plasma cutter deal here.

Ya know it is funny how my debit card company knows exactly when someone is messing with my Visa/Debit Card, even over a very small transaction... Paypal and Ebay together have no idea that someone is scamming the **** outta the system with hundreds of thousands of dollars running thru over a few days.

I still hold out hope.

I googled his email address. What else would I google? His email address is not even included in the list you provided of known scammers

If you hit up his profile name on ebay, and look up the people he recently purchased stuff from this is what you see.

Nice suits phones and sim chips ? :headscrat

Then again in April of this year he sold a bunch of Miller and Lincoln welders, would think they would have blocked him by now... hope you guys get your stuff

Somebody should give PayPal/eBay a heads up.

I submitted a ticket to PayPal yesterday.

Not asking for a refund, just letting them know they should take a look. I'm hoping the 2% chance this is real comes true as I'd love a new Powermax, but I'd bet my left nut it's a scam.

I'm not worried. Best case the welder shows up, worst case I get refunded by eBay. Absolute worst case I call American Express. Where's the risk?

I don't feel like I exposed myself to anything damaging or morally wrong by buying one of the welders. Not like I bought wrenches for super cheap from lowes because of a website issue or anything... Too soon?

Yeah, I don't have huge regrets or anything, just letting people know. If it doesn't go through I get refunded, if it does I get a super-cheap plasma cutter.
