In only 3 days, those guys are really moving along. It's so nice for you!
Thanks. Actually 2 days and they were done! Started Tuesday at 10 AM and finished Wednesday 3:30 PM. I am just updating the thread with everything from the 2nd day...............This crew was amazing and attention to detail was outstanding!

Be ready to wait again. :dunno:
My excavation, retaining wall, concrete, site work all dragged on, seemed like forever. Tubular steel 46x48x12 went up in 2-1/2 days. Now I'm dragging everything out. :headscrat
Yup, all good though 👍 we are scheduled 2nd week of May for the 40x60 pad. Then we will mess with trenching in the power. After that we can look at doing the 40x30 apron. It will all come together. We are so happy to have the building up and got lucky with the weather cooperating.😁

Scott... Admittedly it has been a minute since I've checked in, but I am blown away as to how quickly they put that structure up. The groundwork looked thorough as anything, and as others have noted it's definitely a "buy once, cry once" situation to ensure that your sub terrain is best it can be, especially for a slab as large as you're pouring.

I love the aesthetic of the roofing and siding you picked. As a guy that wears a black shirt and black hat every day, I think if I were to ever go with a structure like this I'd be looking for the same color scheme.

Looking forward to seeing what's next!

Thanks Ryan! The ground work was most important as you stated. We are very fortunate to have such an experienced excavator as well as an individual who is as invested in the project as we are👍 We are very happy with the colors as well, they really blend into the surroundings and with our home.
Next up should be garage doors installed on Tuesday!

Your shop is looking great! Same color as mine, except I went with a lighter color on the roof and have always regretted it. Have often wondered what it would look like with a darker roof color. Now I know.

Looking forward to watching the rest of your project come together!

Garage doors re-scheduled for tomorrow (Friday). They were scheduled earlier in the week, so hopefully tomorrow is the day.

QC for the building is scheduled Monday April 25th at 7am. They will put on the missing piece of trim and ensure I am satisfied with the build.

For those interested, 3 loads of “57’s gravel” and 1 load of crusher run cost $1865. I posted in the beginning I would be transparent on build costs. I am sure this may be higher or lower depending on where you are located.
