I have a top to put on it that matches my other desk/bench, going to do some rearranging this weekend.
It seems pretty sturdy. It is missing a bolt holding the drawer slides in the back middle but that's an easy fix.nice, theres a craftsman table like that down here in south florida but too far for me to go to keep it a good deal :/ How is the build quality?

Sheet metal is thin and the drawers are flimsy. I attached mine to the wall and that helped. I beat on mine, put more weight in the drawers then you are suppose to and it has held up ok. You can find them with more drawers too. Good for a home shop if you can get it cheap.
Man I haven't done any rearranging yet. It's hitting 90 ' s today and if anyone knows us Washingtonian ' s we can't handle that! Inside play in with my kiddos stayin cool! That's cool. I want it..... I have a spot in mind for it already so send that my way. I wouldn't want you to have to rearrange the garage AGAIN. LOL That would be cool as a desk piece for small tools sort of how I have my machinist of my benches.

Thanks Gerard. I've been great, sadly I haven't had much garage time. Busy at work and with the family lately. I've acquired a couple clearance deals at Lowes but haven't made much progress on anything out there. Looking forward to some time this winter as life slows a little. I've been keeping an eye on your thread, looking good. I'm feeling like you and thinking of getting rid of some clutter and unnecessary stuff.Just checking in... How you been and how's the garage coming along?
Have a good one, Gerard
WOW... Those's are sweet. That's a great find. The cabinet you found awhile back looks great all painted up.
WOW now that's the money shot.

That looks great and that cart is awesome find. I do have a suggestion. In this shot.

If you move the black cabinets back up to the entry door and move that stuff down would that help you park 2 cars in there? My thought is moving those to front wall would make them stick out where space wasn't as important. I've seen some build some awesome racks to hold those bins. If I had the space I really like the one a GJ made about 5 ft tall and on casters. I really enjoy your place your place and post. Keep up the good work[emoji106]

Thanks Gerard! I've thought about moving the black ones up towards the house but that is too much work! Lol. I'm fine for now. My wife and I have discussed our next house when we purchase one early 2016, top on the list is 3 car garage minimum or two car with tandem so we'll have more room. Also with RV parking and room to eventually build a shop. Also I explained to her that I want to insulate and drywall the garage(if it isn't already), seal the floors and paint it before we move in.
I love the little cart. Thinking I'll replace the cheapo plastic casters with nicer rubber ones so it'll roll smoother. Thinking about what else to add to it. Maybe a screwdriver holder and some misc attachments to roll to the driveway and work on the cars.
SD: Wow the last time i saw your garage it reminded me of my shop that is packed to the gills. happy to see you have yours in order and looking awesome i might ad.
that gives me hope that some day i'll have walking and working room in my shop again instead of a big storage unit.
great to see you again and i won't let the cat out of the bag and say what you found hiding in my cabinet if you won't announce what you saw.
take care and keep up the good work. keep posting pictures and i'll stop in from time to time to check on your progress. if you need any help or any parts or stuff just ask or get ahold of me.
cheers
Well good luck in your search. I would go with the 3 cause at least park 2 at have alittle work area in the 3rd bay. The garages down here are small and lucky to fit 2 in a 2 car and most of the 3's down here the 3rd bay is/ was meant for a golf cart. I rarely see 3 in any and most I see are used for a work area or lawn tractor. I would like a 3 myself but that's not gonna happen for a looooooooong time so I'm stuck in my place. One good point is at least you have a good collection of stuff to set up new shop.
Great progress on the garage. It's looking not only organized but ready with working space for the next project. And parking a car in there is always a bonus too.
Wish I could say the same. I started out the winter with room to park one car and somehow have managed to find too many good deals on cabinets and steel and stuff to where mine is once again full of future projects that need organizing/completing. I'm still waiting for that first 60 degree weekend here to get back out there and start spring clean up. Still in the 20's here. :-(
SD: those small cabinets are cool. are they two individual drawers on each level or a double drawer? what are their dimensions?
if you can't find a good place in your shop for those they might be good trading stock for something i might have that you can use.
also the 8 drawer cabinet you were able to score is in almost new condition.
cheers
