Thanks Bears, I forgot to mention I had to bore a sheave to fit the metric? shaft on the planer. I didn't have any metric bits and the hole was a funny size so I chucked it in the late and bored it to fit. The planer had a flat style belt on it, I needed to match the motor v pulley.
Koozies can be custom made to order.![]()

Thanks Dan, the koozie will be a functional piece of wall art for you! The planer works fine, I will be attempting a trade up in a couple hours with it, that's what I'm hoping works.
This pic is for Outlaw, I know how much you like using hinges on motors!

I put a short video of it running on my instagram.![]()

Knocked this Reed 106 apart after soaking the screws/pins for two days. I think this one will be bare naked and oiled!

Nines: the Reed 106 looks awesome. just straighten the handle and of course I like the BLO naked vise look. I know you said you needed to or are going to sell it, but that would be an awesome addition to your shop especially with those Anvils you own.
no clue on the C and one of us should have an anvil book to look it up, but sadly I don't. is the NEW anvil with a C weigh about 75 pounds or do tell size and weight?
keep up the great work.
looks like the BAD DREAMS have ended in your life, but you still don't know what NPT is. of course look who's talking and I'm up for Wednesday already after a few hours sleep.![]()

. I know it's in better condition than my Hay Budden and with the info I have on it so far, I think I will be hanging on to it for a while.

Thanks 1/2 Cup! In my multitasking, I have been tinkering with what to do with the new stand I got from Merc. It's believed to be a Craftsman kit, Bluebolt linked to an ad in the Garage Sale Thread and other than the wood, it looked the same. I am torn, I could use it out in the shop as-is or swap out the wood top and shelf with the old growth pine I picked up from a junk pile at a wood mill, seal the wood and paint the metal and use it in the living room as a media center for the receiver, etc. It would look really nice fixed up but it's only original once and I like the character it has now too...
