It's been a long short work week... It was nice to stop and pick this up on the way home!!

I am adding a small addition on the rear of my house and also a second story... The main floor will also be gutted and refinished with no load bearing walls... The rear addition is going on pilings, so as soon as my yard dries they can start drilling them in!!

I used Menzerna FG400 compound on the scuffs and bumpers, then Menzerna SF4500 finishing polish on the whole car... Then I went over it all again with Swissvax cleaner fluid as a final prep for wax...

The wax I use is Swissvax Scuderia...

I hope I am not posting too many pics, sorry for the slower page loads...

OCD

I'm reliably informed by the resident experts on here that the more photos the better. So don't apologise, just keep posting them up.

The fence...

My next door neighbor is a great guy, but doesn't upkeep his house exterior or yard that much... The fence is on my property and was falling apart, so I decided to build a new one... I had never built one before, so this what I came up with!! Lol!! It's been up for a couple years this summer!!

Old fence,

IMG_2235.JPG

Re drilled all the holes,

IMG_2250.JPG

The neighbor had no interest in helping out or chipping in on the new one... All of the stuff in this pic was against the fence on his side, I had to move it all away... :wtf: No prob!! That finalized how the fence was going to be built!!

IMG_2263.JPG

IMG_2272.JPG

IMG_2385.JPG

IMG_2386.JPG

His garage has a shed built off it that is too close to the property line, so I only built the new fence to that point and put a gate on my side... I use the spot for junk that has to be hauled away...

IMG_2384.JPG

Much better!! Glad I put the fence boards tight, they have shrunk a bit...

IMG_2417.JPG

As for the design, there isn't one screw showing on my side...

I was nice enough to put them all in line though!! He is more than happy with the new fence so all is good...

I even put a border down so my gravel doesn't seep into his yard!!

His side,

IMG_2351.JPG

The neighbor on the other side offered to pay for half when we do that one!!

I did some rear suspension upgrades last summer, so I por 15'd the rear end,

P1080317.JPG

P1080400.JPG

Then I had some sub frame connectors welded on,

That led to this,

and this,

Wow! the under carriage of the Mustang looks awesome! Good job! Nice job on the fence too, you know the old saying "Good fences make for good neighbors", Is that your neighbors garage that has no siding? Your yard around the new fence looks great too...Keep posting :D

Yes, the neighbors garage has no siding because it was built too close to the fence to install any... It was built by the previous owners 80 year old father!! He also built an addition to the kitchen on the existing deck, no permits... It is all rotting away now... I feel kinda sorry for my neighbor, he is in way over his head... Paid big bucks for a piece of junk house...

I love this torque wrench, it beeps and lights up when the value is reached, then displays the exact value you hit...

20160426_185225_resized.jpg

I like how it keeps track of the number of times it was used that session... One side done, yes I did torque them all!! Lol...

Those sub frame welds were done by a girl!! My buddies apprentice!! He is a welding guru, even has his aerospace tig certification...

Here is some of the tig welds he did on my custom exhaust system he built...

He built the mufflers too,

My car overheated and puked the other day... Had to tow it home...

20160502_144906_resized.jpg

I had an aftermarket C&R rad in it that has basically leaked since day one...

IMG_0516.JPG

I had taken out once before and sent it to C&R to get fixed, they poured some epoxy on it where it leaked, charged me 150 bucks and sent it back... Still leaked...

I decided to pull it out and put the factory one back in, glad I kept it!!

You should mail back the radiator in its present state of mass destruction, and request some more epoxy to correct all the leaks again.

I have a similar system from Schwaben coolant refill and purge system. Absolutely Love it, no more air pockets!

They would charge me more money... I had to pay 150 bucks for them to epoxy the rad... Plus shipping both ways from Canada to USA...

The radkitplus works awesome!!

My old C/H hose reel works good but the hose was wearing out, so I swapped the hose with a flexzilla and added a couple stickers!!

20160509_213750_resized.jpg

Moved it a better spot too,

I will run the pipe along the tape line and put a small hose whip on...

Going to see how many friends I can troll with this, lol
