Works for me, I'll have more dough for an SK, Wright, and ChannelLock Fix =)
So I propose that on July 4th, we debut the new website, and then give everyone a week to look through it, then we have the official Epstein's Day on July 11th. What do you guys think? This would also give the US manufacturer's more time to come up with free goodies to throw in with your orders. I could go either way, but I think this might make more sense for everyone involved.

It's up to the consensus of the Journal so, I'd say put it to a vote/poll on page one but, that's just me.
So as I am busily working on this new website getting it ready for Epstein's Day, a thought occurred to me, which is, that debuting the website on Epstein's Day is not going to be helpful in terms of giving you guys enough time to actually browse through it, look at the 1000's of new Wright products, and also be able to adequately complain about how much you liked the old website better.

Wouldn't mind some sk stuff. I will be in Italy at the time however. Is it possible to order from there?
Question... my current "wish list" is a collection of bookmarks on the existing site. After the new site launch, will the current product URLs work, or do I need to just make a list of products to search for once the new site launches?
67king said:I buy American, anyway. Whether July the 4th, of the 31st of February. I don't need to wait until our Independence Day rolls around to make me buy American. I'll play along this time, unless I get in a bind, in which case, I'll go ahead and buy. But it'll be American.
I wish there were more people similar to you these days. Similar to you, I don't buy American just on special days or when this convenient. What others do with their own money is their business, but I buy made in USA items any chance I get.
When this comes to supporting the jobs of my fellow American "brothers and sisters" anytime is well worth the effort.
EDIT: Jori, would this be possible to buy smooth jaw Channellock pliers during the 11th with Epstein Day?
I'm in. Read here a lot, have posted only a couple of times. Two orders from HJE so far, about to do a 3rd. (Not a mechanic, but spent ~10 years in a machine shop and am always working on something.)
I ordered one of the free ratchet rebuild kits with my first order. They called me and apologized because it was out of stock. They asked if they could send it when it came in. Crazy good customer service. (I of course said not to worry about it.)
Got a Wright 3430 (small 3/8"). So handy!
Fox's pictures of all of his WrightGrips has me wondering, what is really considered a full set of combination wrenches?
I see that he has 18 different metric wrenches there.
Costco is selling Ernst wrench racks designed to fit 20 wrenches. I know that Ernst also makes rails for 15 wrenches as well. My basic Craftsman Raised Panels came with eight metric wrenches: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17mm. My Gearwrench ratcheting set came with 10 metric wrenches. And Epsteins sells the metric Wrightgrips in sets of 11.
So what is really considered a "complete set" for combination wrenches? Anticipating the question/objection of "depends on what you use them for", I am thinking about general household and automotive use.
For metric I'd say a reasonably complete set would include the sizes 7-19mm without skipping. Having said that I wouldn't lose too much sleep over Wright's 11 piece set skipping 16 & 18mm.

You would lose a lot of sleep without that 18mm if you work on late model cars.
your 5/8 can take the place of missing 16mm. Just because Japanese cars skip 16 and 18 mm doesn't mean you don't need those two wrenches.
Wright needs to get with program![]()

Yeah no kidding, I can't go a day without using 18MM anything. Why does Wright omit this size?
So, I know there has been a lot of discussion and maybe I missed the final word, but is 2015 HJE Day now "OFFICIALLY" on July 11 in lieu of July 4??
It appears to me that Wright IS with the program ... but, perhaps you guys may not be looking at the correct Wright wrench sets. Wright sells five basic sets of 12 point metric combo wrenches:
Wright Set #750 7-19 mm skipping 16 and 18
Wright Set #751 10-19 mm no skips
Wright Set #752 7-19 mm no skips + 21 & 22
Wright Set #758 7-24 mm no skips
Wright Set #760 6-27 mm no skips + 30, 32, 36, 41, 46, & 50
You just need to choose the set that best meets your needs. But, I agree that I don't know why Wright sells the #750 without the 16 and 18. They should add these two wrenches and everyone would be happy! Or, maybe it's their way of producing a "discount" set.

That's what I'm assuming. If I had to guess we will hear from Jori early next week with final details.
I guess since we got such a late start this year we won't be getting t shirts again?
Granted the SK Day shirt remains to be my favorite and being is shirt is 100% USA made I am very proud to wear that as well.

The addition of the "stripper-glitter" in the printing, while looking cool, sheds all over everything else in the wash, annoyingly.
Crick, Channellock and Wright are on my shopping list for Epstein's Day.![]()
Those American made Crick levels look amazing.
Already own one, have had it for years, they are great levels.
They need to be wiped down with boiled linseed oil once a year or each time before use doing concrete work (so the hod doesn't stick).
