Yeah 0% for either 60 or 72 months. I don't remember which off the top of my head. Sales guy asked if I wanted to pay for it or finance it. The cash incentive was $500 so I put my checkbook away and said finance it !!!Zero percent finance on that?
I bought a new John Deere lawn mower, just before the turn of the year. They were trying to move inventory, and offered free financing. So I bought a silly big zero turn. Financed for 72 months!

OMG Martin

I keep two tires on rims for my Hustler as I always find something dumb to turn them into flattened floppy pancakes again.I abuse my mower. My tires are always flat. I wanted to see how these hold up. I can always switch back to pneumatic.
Yeah, if it wasn’t for the free financing, I wouldn’t have even considered it.

Oh Mother Deere is getting her money one way or another. $44,000 for a lawnmower BUT no interest. Mmmmmmmhmmmmmmm. They ain't doing it for nothing lol.I love when John Deere lets you use their money for FREE!
What's better than low interest rates....no interest rate! (this is coming from a banker)
It’s got a loader as well so it’s only a $22,000 mower. It’s also a $22,000 loader tractor. And it’ll run my wet bin auger with its handy dandy 540pto so now it’s a $14,666 auger tractor, $14,666 lawnmower and $14,666 loader tractor. Can hire a lot of mowing for $44,000 but then you lose the sweat and grass clipping cologne

It’ll get put on the deprecate for 5yrs so the payments are all deductible. Quite nice how that works. It’s not quite free but it saves a chunk in taxes vs keeping the cash around. Plus, it’s a lot harder to cut grass with a stack of cash. You forgot tax deductible. You may have actually came home with more money in your pocket!

Yasaywhat?Drive into chicken building, cost/chick?![]()
The FSS v0.2 is on the 5510. It is honestly probably one of the most used ones as it’s on a giant magnet. It goes on everything and works great !!I see the cupholder on the 5510!
Please tell me you got a new cupholder and hat thrown in on the deal![]()
I asked what I needed to do to get the Gold Key hat and got giggled at. Apparently a 2-series isn’t big enough yet to warrant a trip to Georgia to drive it off the line.Make sure you get the "Owner Edition" hat.
I forgot all about that !! Going to order a badass looking stencil right now.I'm still waiting for the chick stencils painted on the wall in the chicken barn.

I look at it the same lol. I think I have nearish 20 cord stashed around the property for next year and could dip into it if needed. With 10 day forecast highs above freezing and 52f tomorrow it’ll last quite a while yet !!I generally figure if I have half my wood left on MLK Day, I'm all set for the rest of the heating season. Looks to me like you are in great shape!
Ok ok ok I’ll weld it all shut lolI'd be sealing it up somehow. Otherwise dirt and moisture will get in there and start to rust which will make getting that receiver in and out a bit troublesome.
Rust ? Here !? NoooooooooooMy thoughts exactly, seal it up and prevent any possibility of side effects from rust-jacking
I walked over to my iron pile with the receiver hitch in hand, and went searching for stuff that would work. I wanted to put a ring around the end of the 2” tube to give it some extra strength where the receiver hitch gets pushed into and found that 8 inch long chunk of 3” tubing and thought it would work just fine. Things snowballed from there and now older Mike gets to do a bunch of welding and head scratchingAny reason you didn't just go with the smaller tubing?
You'll be getting water in through the pin hole so make sure you've got a way to get it out.
Looks great!

Well I was going to post a pic tomorrow with a rusty wooden handled screwdriver stuck in there but now I don’t have to lol. That screwdriver has pulled countless hay racks and other stuff around the yard behind the Farmall H and you’d never know it by looking at itA true farmer, when he can't find a pin, uses a screwdriver![]()

Ratchets work well too...Well I was going to post a pic tomorrow with a rusty wooden handled screwdriver stuck in there but now I don’t have to lol. Lots of thought and even a little bit of forward planning went into building design and layout around here. Lots of things happened to work out by dumb luck as well thoughAlso speeds up having a nice bobcat with a large bucket, large Lots and high ceilings that you can get after it versus tractor front end loader that will barely fit in the alley and you have to back out for every bucket. Tbones still grill up![]()

That’s Leo. He’s a spunky 6-1/2yrs young and can do a ton of stuff already for someone his height. He’s a ways off from chainsawing on his own though lolThat little dude is young! I started chainsawing at age 12, but I imagine you started a little younger.
