I went to Sears yesterday and found I could not use the reward points on their store computer. Anyone had the same experience?

For anyone who has points to burn or surprise points, I've liked my cman pro jack stands. They are on sale for $30 right now. They don't get this cheap very often.

I've always been able to use Rewards points and Surprise points on the store computer.
Starting about 2-3 weeks ago, it stopped letting me use "Surprise points", but can still use Rewards points.
Do you mean rewards points or surprise points.
Rewards points (works) - You have 6,300 ($6.30) rewards points.
Surprise points (doesn't work) - You have 5,000 ($5.00) to spend on all Sears/Kmart products. Or, You have 10,000 ($10.00) to spend on all Tool Purchases of $75 or more., etc.
It seems that in the last couple weeks the In Store Kiosk computers are more restrictive.
I haven't tried it since last week. Are they now restricting Rewards points as well as Surprise points?
I meant surprise points not working. Rewards points are still there. Maybe sears change their policy for store computer use.
Yes, it is.
Yes it's not a bad deal or yes it is?
The Craftsman 36" pry bar is a "Hot Buy" at $18.98. Not bad, especially if one has points to burn.
The craftsman professional jack stands are at 27.48 right now. I grabbed 2 pairs. Hot buy but I got a points back coupon to stack.
Here's an actual "hot buy" for once...

14 pc 3/8 deep set, $19.99. Shows up as ~$40 everywhere else.
No, Chinese. Even were when they had the gold handles. Are these USA?
My gold handle ones are USA, they must be older.http://www.sears.com/craftsman-prof...p-00945661000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1
Craftsman Professional 5-1/2 in. Needle Nose Pliers
$3.98
Are these USA? If they are, I'm in.. if not, I don't need them... have a lot of cheap ones already.
Been replacing a lot of my cheap tools lately with better brands, preferably USA. I've been on a Channellock kick, but I'm picking up a lot of SK lately too.
From my Sears Hometown flyer, prices valid through 8/29

I have had good luck with the above light.
DO NOT buy this light. I have had mine for a year and had to warranty it about once a month. If you turn it on while it is connected to the charger, it fries it. The charger craps out randomly. Battery life goes from excellent to 10 mins in a few days.
How about the newer model? It's been on sale for $20 in the past.
