Those reach and add on sets magically reduced down is ****. I went and picked mine up today at Pensacola. Those sets stacked by hundreds. It's apparently one of the Christmas items.

In still glad I got it but it's not a $99 set marked down. Will see about the quality later. I don't wrench for a living so if it helps reach something I'll be glad I got it.

It appears a lot of the Christmas/Holiday "specials" are already being stocked.

That said, they had wrench organizer trays for $4.48. Made in USA too, which I found surprising.

They aren't great, but at $4.48, they were worth it over $20 Ernst organizers.

Can you post the ones you got? Wondering if the same style I have seen before or another.

Thanks,

Great- thanks! I have similar to those but always looking for ways to improve. Although now i'm thinking might be worth picking up another set because these seem like they lock the wrenches in and you could carry them to your work? Maybe something to do with an extra set...

Adam
The handle is bulky, but they work really well with the Craftsman RP wrenches (and most likely with the older Apex/Danaher Armstrong, Kobalt, KD, Allen, etc.). Be warned that thinner beamed wrenches slide around and can fall out (I had my Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches in them).

Although made in USA is always preferred, not all imports are low quality. I think most Germany and Taiwan hand tools are top notch. While I don't feel good paying for China made product, I do with Taiwan made, a pro-USA democracy that always gets my vote. I think the quality is outstanding for the price. Amazing what they can do in Taiwan. I am slowly upgrading my tools to all USA, Germany, and Taiwan.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Although Apex knows how to make tools in China too, like ratcheting Gearwrenches. I will agree the DeWalts are pretty damn nice for imports.

I'm wanting this roller tool cabinet

Anybody know of any discount on top of that price that I can get.

And was thinking that with a few additional items it would put me slightly over the 2 bill mark

When I click the link it shows a hot buy for $179.99 - so it sounds like you're in luck it's well under the $200 you were thinking! I can't say after using other brands of rollcabs that Craftsman would be my first choice, but if it works for you I hope this helps!

Local Sears Hometown type place is going out of business. It's at 6009 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44515 in Austintown, Ohio -- right off 11. Up to 50% off.

The Craftsman tools are only 10%-20% off right now, and that's off full inflated retail. Talking like $60 for a set of their basic screwdrivers (30-40 pieces). So it's not really a good deal yet on the tools.

But it is a full hardware store, and some of the other stuff is 30-40% off. Plumbing stuff is mostly 50% off for things like PVC stuff, p-traps, faucets, etc.. I bought some plumbing spares and a couple rattle cans of spray paint.

It's not marked a "hot buy" for me so use coupons. I was able to stack a $20 off $150 worked as well as points back coupons. Look under the Sears "Coupons" for both. If not there go to Retail me Not or similar sites and it should be there as well. If you aren't a Shop Your Way Rewards member sign up for that first. Also showing an additional $40 back in points back for me but that will vary by member and rewards level.

I cut the handle off in my bandsaw to save that space in the toolbox. A hacksaw will work good also. Just an idea.......

Craftsman 7 pc. Metric T-Through Handle Ball End Hex Key Set - $20.39 Reg $40

Not sure how great of a deal these are since I don't really keep my eye on them. They are not listed as hot buys, so coupons and surprise points should work on them. I don't use hex keys enough to justify the space things like this take up. Should still be made in the USA though, and they have good reviews.

EDIT: I think these might be made in China now. I looked on Ebay and the package no longer says USA on the front and the handles appear to be slightly different colors than they used to be.

I bought these probably two years ago and they were made in China. Still a pretty decent set. I wish they came with a stand or something though. I struggle with where to put them in my tool box.

I got a $4 off of $4 surprise point. Anything cheap worth buying with that? I can't think of much I need from Sears to be honest.

My local store has a ton of the 3 piece pry bar set at 19.99. The last time I did an online pickup, they took over 15 minutes instead of the promised 5, so I got a $5 coupon. They can't price match online and take the coupon, but $5 off $20 ain't bad.

I had an in-store pickup that took 27 minutes. Store manager gave me a gift card for $25.

I've been watching football and looking for a set of ratcheting wrenches all day. I did notice the GW flex for $27 but also showing not available for me. Nice to know they have them in the store. Hopefully they have them online soon so we can get $10 in SWY points.

Edit: I think slickdeals killed that deal. Someone posted it around noon eastern and now they're saying it's expired.

They also have...

GearWrench 20PC Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set SAE/MM for $50

Same 20 piece set in Craftsman for $54

Craftsman 8 pc. Metric 12 pt. Combination Wrench Set $9

GearWrench 32 Piece Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set with Stubby Wrenches and Carrying Case for $80

Craftsman 11-piece Combination Wrench Set metric or sae for $18

Craftsman 9-piece Full Polish Metric or SAE Combination Wrench Set $23

Craftsman 5-piece Full Polish Large Combination Wrench Set -Choice of Metric or SAE for $50

Craftsman 8-piece Metric or SAE Flat, Full-Polish Ratcheting Wrench Set $30

$10 in SWYP when you spend $50.

Anyone know of a $10 of $100 coupon or similar?

There are also many more Craftsman deals...

100-Piece Drill Bit Accessory Kit $13.49
208-Piece Craftsman Ultimate Screwdriver Bit Set $17.99

Ok guys, my birthday is later this week and last week I received an email from Craftsman giving me 10 dollars to spend. I have had no luck getting it to apply on anything. Anyone else ever get this and successfully use it?

Do you see the offer on this page?
http://www.shopyourway.com/today/surprise

If it's there, are you trying "Sold by Sears" tools?

I didn't get any birthday points this years, so maybe they broke it along with many other things.

Thank you for the response. No, it doesn't show on that page. Didn't last year either, never used it then either. I am pretty good with their website, but I know some of the guys on here are real masters. Figured it was worth a shot asking.
