I'm still getting $10 off $50 or $15 off $100 . . .
. . . . just got a $5 off clothes . . . . also recently a $10 off $30 from K-Mart.
The "trick" I've learned to using those instant Surprise Points is click on the Shop Now when Sears emails the offers. Then pick some stuff for cart and see how the Surprise Pts work out (ie if they apply to your proposed purchases) along with the future SYW free money.
Be ready to buy something because if you mess with opening and closing the cart too much, the Surprise Point dollars will disappear.
It's becoming king of a use-it-or-lose-it sort of bait and switch by Sears.
+1 on previous advice to not let SYW money build up too much and not take it. I was nicely surprised as all my discounts applied to the 2 tires I bought today.
