I was in the Fayetteville, AR store today. They had the 8" drill press on the bottom shelf with no price. I asked for a price check and it scanned for $24. With points I got it out the door for $14.

Do you happen to have an item number for it?

Yeah I got a 3/4 hp belt/Disk sander for 35 minus whatever points were on my account at the time. When a box looks really beat up, and the item is not displayed then get a price check.

Are people seeing this 47747 only in stores on sale? It's 94.99 online, but there is one at my store.

Sears "clearance / clear out" in-store prices *really* vary store to store... No rhyme or reason that I can find.

The "sale" prices for stuff are usually pretty consistent though, but usually you can get a better price online than at the store for things just on "sale".

Ugh, I went to the store in Fayetteville and that other 8" DP was gone. :(

I did find a CMan LED light that uses the 19.2v battery packs that was on clearance for I think $15, and with my points I paid like $6 or less...

Stopped by the Sears in Frisco Texas. While there was no one, even employees, in the area, I did find a clearance table.

Kmart workers are nervous about a forthcoming "Inventory Blowout Sale" that will percentage discount virtually everything in Kmart stores, presumably nationwide. It will commence in July and run through August. Unlike other sales, this one will work just like the store closure sales -- a flat percentage off merchandise instead of a traditional dollars-off sale.

Just like last summer's "put everything out on the floor," this weird sale has employees wondering if this could be a prelude to a chainwide liquidation.

--------------

May need to keep an eye out at Kmart for deals. Sadly the end maybe near. If you have points, you may consider spending them.

I haven't and refuse to step foot in Kmart. Last time I was there, the store was a total mess, 1 checkout open with 20+ people in line. UNACCEPTABLE

I got two of them a month or so ago. With surprise points they came to 34 a piece. Wasn't expecting much but it's actually a decent drill press for the money

Understood.

I tried to have my items sent to Sears, but sometime for some reason I can only ship them to Kmart. Definitely different experience when I go to pick up at Kmart.

One time, they can not find my phone number in order to figure my order. Not sure if they can not use the computer, or what was the exact problem. From what I can tell they only have one locked shelving, half full with order. Easy enough to just go over there and find my order/package with my name. It is not like they have a pile of orders that they need to go thru.

I am surprised the local Kmart is still open since the store is poor condition all these years.

Craftsman 53" , 8 drawer toolbox, $224.99 plus $7 in bonus points. After tax came to a little over $233. Local Sears has 1 in stock. I'll pick it up tomorrow hopefully. It has mixed reviews, but it should be fine for light duty diy use.

Oh that *****, I just picked mine up. It's really nice compared to my chinese made Gerber. It's a bit sleaker and the metal just looks and feels better quality.
