No Hot Buy tag to block your coupons:

GearWrench 32 Piece Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set $73.43

spin_prod_739711412

The price went up $1.56 but they are offering $12 back on a $70 purchase and another $25.75 to be redeemed later.

Sears strikes again.

I ordered these this morning and they showed in stock at the local store for pick up today. This afternoon, I find a email telling me they are not in stock and I can drive to next nearest store (where they are probably not really there either) or have them shipped to my residence. Ship away....

Most of the USA pliers are now on secret clearance for about 50% off. No sale tags and no indication why some are on sale and some aren't. Sears even went so far as to print normal looking price tags with the lower prices, so unless you knew that $14.98 was WAAY cheap for the 3 piece set, you would never know they were on sale.

Got all 3 of these Packages for around $30

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to check my store to see what they have in inventory.

You guys are bad news. I think I've increased the number of Craftsman tools I own by 500% since I joined a couple weeks ago....under $40 out the door.

I just visited the local sears, not impressed with any sales. Mostly just 10% off and half picked over, despite signs outside station "huge liquidation, 60% off"

Same situation at my closest Sears, which happens to be the only one closing in my area (La Jolla Village). Barely any savings and not a great selection left. I'm hoping for some cheap socket racks at the end best case.

It's like most rubes didn't realize that most tools are always on sale for more than that, or can be with coupons and free SYW points. But it's not like I'm surprised or anything.

Really blows to loose this one, because the next closest one to me is right by the Mexico border, is always full, and refuses to clearance or put anything on sale, or pricematch the sales every other Sears has. Captive audience that I guess doesn't know about harbor freight.... My MO of buying stuff there any pricematching at the La Jolla location is done.

The two stores I got mine from is 40 miles north and another one that is 30 miles north, or I'd be happy to help you out. Happened to be in the area visiting friends. My other stores are closing (picked over) or don't have any left.

Check eBay, lot's of sellers have them for barely over what the sales prices are, and by the time you figure your gas and time, honestly pretty good prices.

^^^ This... Especially when they are giving lots of points back people will work the system to get lots of things cheap and re-sell on eBay at a low price to get it converted to cash...

Laundering SYW points... lol...

Heading to my local Hometown Store today... Will report back any interesting sales, WF pliers availability, etc... Also will see if I can get the inside scoop from the owner what's been going on with Sears lately as they do send out corporate emails to the stores regularly.

My Sears Hometown didn't know anything about clearance or no longer carrying WF. I'm going to stop by, every few days, just in case.

They are having some good sales, but nothing on individual WF tools (all their sets are out of stock).

Hey guys, I've gotten a couple of complaints about this thead... folks are using it for general discussion rather than posting deals. Please follow our rules and don't post unless you have a deal to post. Failing to do so could end in your account losing privilidges to use the hot deals forum.

Thanks,

Ryan
please stick to the deals.

No deals at my Hometown Store. Owner was about to head out for delivery so he couldn't chat. I did notice the tools area was looking smaller than usual, I don't know if they just moved the rows closer together or what. They did have a bunch of new treadmills??? Seemed kind of odd for a small town... Lawns mowers & other equipment I get... but treadmills???

On the plus side, he did have plenty of WF pliers and screwdrivers. But I did notice the new Chinese ones trickling in.

I noticed on the website they priced the 17pc screwdriver set at $19.99 as the Craftsman Club Price...

I think that's about the usual holiday pricing though.

The 6-in-1 was also reduced down to $4.99, these are always very nifty to have in a bag / vehicle.

Thanks Ryan,
Just to be clear,
we cant ask, Is that a decent (insert tool, that was posted above, here?)
Just open/start a new thread for that?

We could even do a thread like " sears tools, Pass/Fail," like the harbor freight thread.
Thanks,

Everybody always says "Craftsman production went to China but they still charge USA prices!" Well, here are your China prices folks.

Good deals. I once bought the wobble extensions for $9.99 with 50% back in points, but that was the lowest price I had seen.

These are down to $50 but not available in my area. Maybe one of you will be the lucky one!

imo these wrench are awesome  The length are great for extra leverage. I bought mine when it was around this price a few months ago. Gearwrench has a similar set for a lot more money.

Too bad not available in my area, I would have bought another set.
