So this morning, I got an email from Sears Parts Direct that my order had shipped!
...but when I went to check the order status the other CM Industrial item I ordered shipped, but the large industrial wrench set now has a status of "Order sent to manufacturer for fulfillment". You fellers probably know better than me, but has Sears completely discontinued Craftsman Industrial? Well, I guess that would be has Stanley Black and Decker, if it wasn't already before? If so, it seems I should ask for a refund sooner than later...but for now I'm fine to wait if there's any chance.
It does say case is included in the Specifications section. Don't know if it's leather or not.

No shipping email yet, but order does say it was "sent to manufacturer." Great if I get them, otherwise its $80 I wont have to spend for a few days (might be a good thing).
does anyone know if Sears Parts purchases count towards ShopYourWay reward amounts? Good chance with a couple more purchases, I could get to $800. Hoping this counts too
They are available at my store but they don't show for pickup. Just got a few for $5 ea.Hi guys! I haven't used my account here in forever (been trying to avoid temptation, lol), but I've been following the Sears/SYW threads avidly this year, since SYW started making it possible this year for me to accumulate more useful amounts of points before they expire (previous years I was left out of a lot of formerly-targeted 'doorbusters' and I got tired of spending so much time on the games when it wouldn't add up to enough to do much in 14 days). I've been able to afford to expand my tool collection quite a bit this year thanks to SYW.
I recently became aware of the existence of Craftsman Christmas ornaments. Turns out they've come out with 200+ different ones over 20+ years, and not a one of 'em ever appeared in my local stores! This year's ornaments are currently on buy-one-get-one-free AND 50% off online through tomorrow, Dec 16. Unfortunately, they stopped being available for shipping a couple days ago, before I could re-accumulate enough points to get them.
So now I'm kicking myself that I didn't just order them sooner and pay out of pocket...

Three of the designs are new for 2017 (hex nut snowflake, "90", and the toolbox), and the other three are repeats from previous years.
If any of you still have them available at your local store, you should be able to order all 6 online for in-store pickup for a total of $14.97 (plus tax, if not using points). If anyone who can find them would be willing to pick up a set for me, I'd reimburse your cost and shipping, via Paypal or whatever method you prefer.
So this gets a little weirder. I have an email saying my order shipped. The items aside from the CM large industrial combo wrenches had a status of "Shipped", and the large wrenches had a status of "Order sent to manufacturer for fulfillment", as I previously said. There was a link next to the other items that said "View UPS Details". I didn't actually click it to get the tracking number, however.
After posting here I started a chat with a Sears rep, who told me that he was reaching out to his "backend" team and they would get back to me in 2-3 days (see attached screenshot of the chat). Now, when I go to check the order status, all items now are back in a "Pending" status...and there's no tracking link. Has me scratching my head, but I'm fine to wait for a good deal.

The ornaments are no store pickup, shipping unavailable here. But they are made in USA!They are available at my store but they don't show for pickup. Just got a few for $5 ea.
Looks like the Craftsman Industrial taken off website and the SAE and Metric Cross-force sold out now.
I really doubt those direct links are going to work. I watched the crossforce wrenches go from an available quantity of ~60 each (SAE and metric) two days ago, to about 10 last night, to zero this morning.

This morning I heard back from a relative who found 5 out of 6 of them for me at their store (which the website claimed had none), hidden behind the Precious Moments ornaments, lol.Still in search of the Hex Nut Snowflake, but will be able to check an out-of-town store in person myself tomorrow.
Funny, I was looking online for those this morning and was disappointed when the website showed that there were none anywhere. I had to go to the store anyway today and, sure enough, they were a bunch of them. I picked up the toolbox. It turns my wife got the store before me in search of them for me. She picked up the stocking and the snowflake. We didn't get the wrenches, though, as that one is s repeat from a previous year. Might go back and pick up the saw blade. The snowflake is nice because it has the date on it.
Were they in the tools section of the store? My wife gets antsy when I start walking up and down every single aisle.Funny, I was looking online for those this morning and was disappointed when the website showed that there were none anywhere. Another place to look. Mine were at the register in the tools section. Were they in the tools section of the store? My wife gets antsy when I start walking up and down every single aisle.

It's disappointing to realize too late that these were in a lot more stores than the website ever admitted, but were never inventoried properly or something, and now most of them are sold out for real.Looks like they even packed them well. The two orders I made for the large wrenches last Thursday morning showed up today.
I ordered two more on Friday and that order like so many on here has been sent to manufacturer for fulfillment.
yep no holes in either of these boxes although the first set of wrenches I got were in the same box packed the same way and they almost fell out. So I think it has more to do with how ups throws them around.
For my wrench order that says it's been sent to manuf for fulfillment I clicked the view history link and it says they are being shipped in a day or two..??
Yeah, unless the wrenches are surrounded by enough dense packing material that you can't hear them shift around inside the box at all when you shake it around, they're surely heavy enough to force some of that basic package-sealing tape to unstick if given enough momentum. The papery type of tape that bonds with the cardboard when dampened might've been able to hold more reliably, but even that isn't a sure thing.
I got my fingers crossed. Thanx for the detail
Sears is the world's worse packager. All the packages I have ever got from them were unbelievably poorly packaged. And since they were all that way, it kind of reflects why these goofs are going under.
I'm still amazed that the Long prybar didn't escape.
There really isn't all that much to even order anymore.
They are either revamping the entire tool line in January or something much worse. ***** for them cause they need the sales and everything is gone.
Went and checked out the closing store again tonight, only like 3 half full aisles left of tools and it really doesn't look THAT much different from the non closing store! (at least the power tools section).
My store sold out of all their Dewalt bits, which I would often use as fillers on larger purchases, and those have no been restocked in several months. I picked up one of the last 2 pivoting nut drivers they had, before seeing nothing the next week.
So even though they are in bed with SDB now, looks like they are getting the cold shoulder
On a related topic, I realized the other day that the electronics dept is gone and has been replaced by mattresses. The store has more mattresses on the floor than a mattress store. I asked the sales person and she said that mattresses offer the greatest profit. The first floor of the store is about 1/3 mattresses now.
