Ha, so much for valuing 'members', Sears.

That BB coupon may work for a non-account purchase in-store, but if you try to use that coupon with your account, it won't work. We have a couple accounts in our family, and only one received a Sears BB last month. We have tried swapping the code, it doesn't work, but it's not really swapping as it's the same for everyone. something at the register triggers it to be active in your account. That's why those cards they hand out when you do get a BB coupon, all are the same.
What card? Maybe I'm using the wrong term, I was referring to any coupon that you get with your receipt.
No biggie than, most of what I have been letting lapse are 4 off 20 tools, 10 off 40 anything, 7 off 35 anything.
Yeah, usually when we talk about "bounceback coupons" here, it's referring to special ones that come with a physical card (the size of a credit card) in addition to the receipt printout.

No biggie than, most of what I have been letting lapse are 4 off 20 tools, 10 off 40 anything, 7 off 35 anything. I've been shopping in store a bunch due to my stack of $5 off $5 apology up coupons(instore only with crapload of restrictions) and simply getting more of those 3 type of coupons that I could ever use. I found the trick to get the bounceback coupons is to not use my SYW account when redeeming the apology coupons. Apparently they work harder to get non SYW members to come back.
I may just make a google doc and share it with a few of the regular contributors in this thread via PM to avoid any controversy.
I'm glad someone is still getting coupons... it's been over 2 months since I got one... and that includes some in-store purchases as well as a couple of (albeit, small) online purchases where I didn't redeem any points.
Someone on SD reported a couple weeks ago that they bought a whole dang refrigerator at Sears and still didn't get any coupons, lol.
Also, it's different from freecash points, because it applies as a discount on your subtotal.
I guess I should be thankful I got the $5 in Freecash with the weekly sweeps e-mail yesterday... since that's dried up for me, too.
Yep, for me it's just been those and the occasional coupon from retailmenot.
And doh, I just realized my hurried order last night was a large enough total that I would have been better off using a $5 off $35 from RMN on it, and using my $5 from that email on some other small item. Oh well, too late now.
Picked up today USANew low for this set, and last I checked there were only USA sets in-store around me.
Craftsman 6 piece Chisel Set $11.99

I'm not sure what you mean and why it is different from freecash points. The bounceback offers I have gotten have been freecash offers for a particular dollar amount toward any purchase. I have also gotten freecash offers like that, as well as freecash offers that were a dollar amount off a minimum spend. I'm not understanding what was different about the offers you got?

paid $399 - $35 RMN coupon for a 10-drawer CM tool cabinet (to use as a counter in my kitchen) and got $40 cash back from RMN plus the $304

hopefully theyre starting back up with the freecash/points instead of the $5/35 poop ive been seeing lately
i'll be honest...i'm not sure, i try to keep my inbox clean and sears spams me hard. i thought i saw something for the SYW games and i clicked it but didn't win anything. is that maybe what spurred the $5 freecash?

well i guess i should start paying more attention then. thanks
is that something they send out each week or did i just get lucky? i usually click on most of the sears stuff just to check to see if they have any decent deals like the 300/300 going on, but this is the first time i recall seeing complete freecash to the account
Let's say you want to order a $39.99 item, and it qualifies for the $35 minimum free shipping.
If you apply a $10 freecash discount coupon in the cart, then your subtotal will drop to $29.99. So the order no longer qualifies for free shipping.
If you apply $10 in freecash points as payment at checkout, then your subtotal will remain at $39.99. So the order still qualifies for free shipping.
Hmm, sounds like I have not received the "discount coupon" version then. All the freecash offers I have received have been $X off $Y in XYZ or just $X cash, applied at checkout, and did not affect eligibility for free shipping.
Just something that I figured I should mention... I've had a couple of orders recently where the items weren't available for free shipping, although very similar ones by the same manufacturer were. I did webchats on these and was offered free shipping both times (both orders totaled just over $35).
On one order, they just added a credit for the shipping costs. On the other, they charged shipping and then refunded my credit card $6.25.
So if you see something you want and it doesn't have free shipping as an option, you might want to do a webchat and see if they will do it for you.

(I haven't had time to keep up with all the employee gossip about the trickling-in store closures for the past few weeks.)
There has also been some reports recently from another person on SD who is a member of some unnamed focus group that has been getting asked how they would feel if the SYW program were to hypothetically end at the end of this year...

)Basically the proposals range from an 80% trim on SYWR promo spending, offering membership points and rewards to Sears credit card holders only, and charging a $29-49 annual fee for membership.

The Craftsman 2.5 in. Hose Pinch Off Tool is showing available again. Too few posts to post link. I bought 2 last time they were available and they are excellent.

Well well well, every time we think it's gone for good, it pops back in again!

$19.99 sale, $29.99 regularly (ship to home or store)
Probably won't even last a whole day before going out of stock again, from recent trends.
Too bad the two smaller siblings seem to have been gone much longer without returning in Craftsman versions.
