I think this is the lowest @ $14.44 (I think the cheapest price for the older set was $19 iirc). Note this is the new 3 pc breaker bar.

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-3-p...lerId=SEARS&prdNo=12&blockNo=12&blockType=G12

Was just about to place an order, but the need to maximize a deal started having me debate whether I should wait for Sunday to see if I get some freecash.

However, I see it's posted both here and Slickdeals, so the Sears site may slowly start raising the price.

These are new:

Craftsman Ultimate Collection Transformer Tool Metric or SAE Set - $73.09

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-ultimate-collection-transformer-tool-metric-set/p-A031826422

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-ultimate-collection-cm-transformer-tool-sae-set/p-A03182668

I've run into situations where these would have come in handy... but managed to get by without them. Still... interesting and nice to see something new... so it'll go on the 'watch' list, for now.

Picture says COO is Taiwan.

I think Lowes carried something similar... but don't remember if they were flex... and pretty certain you couldn't set them at an angle.

You're missing one digit for the SAE link:

https://www.sears.com/craftsman-ultimate-collection-cm-transformer-tool-sae-set/p-A031826686

I'm interested in the concept, but wish they included more sizes in the set for the price. Also surprised by the Taiwan COO, because the Ultimate Collection 90T-ratchet kits are made in China.

Geez, I wish I hadn't bought the previous design 4 months ago for $20 (adjusted down to $18 afterward)!

And yes, I'm pretty sure that is a new record low on the folding tamper-proof torx set. I bought it for $10.44 on 11/15, and adjusted down to $9.49 on 11/29; each was a record low at the time AFAIK. Has anyone ever done a second round of price adjustment on the same item, or is it a one-shot thing?

I've never bothered trying, because it would usually gain me only a bit more change.

Yeah, I've never bothered trying before, only considering it now that winnings have dried up so much. Probably won't bother unless someone else already happened to try it so I know it's possible to succeed.

IMHO I think this is a killer deal so I jump on it (cashback offer made it even better). I know maybe not for the pros, but for home use should be decent. I just need a box for all my free tools lol

I did a quick search and the drawers are 75 lbs. Available to pick up in two places within 1 hr from me.

International 42 in. 7-Drawer Ball Bearing Slides Top Chest, Black $93.99.

yep, ive done it a few times but only when it was at least an additional dollar drop or more. did it within the last two weeks too, on 3 ton jack stands. had to use expiring points and they were almost reg price at $32.99, dropped to $28.99 got $4 back, then dropped down to $24.99. best part is the rep gave me the full $8 on the 2nd refund instead of just the difference ;). and guess what...down to $22.94 now, so i might even try to triple dip that refund. we'll see if it works at that point. ive got several things that need matched so might as well ask.

Yes, I recently did 3 price adjustments on a single item.

Each time, they had record of the previous adjustments and gave me back the additional difference.

thats a great deal before the free shipping. after? i can guarantee they are losing money on each one sold unless you live within 10 minutes of the warehouse where its shipping from. wish they werent listed as out of stock near me

A few of us bought International boxes (at all time low prices) around Black Friday with free shipping. We were wondering if we would get them. Everyone I’ve talked to has had theirs shipped and some have already received them. If you need one go for it and pay with a credit card so your protected.

The gearwrench metric flex ratchet wrenches are down to $25.49. Great buy if you don't have a set although hard to warranty if you break them.

I had no luck getting my Canopy to ship yet, pretty sure I was one of the first to order if not the first. Either way Amex will get my $25 back and I'll keep the $25 in points. I'd be hesitant to trust this International stuff to actually ship. Someone mentioned earlier that they have fulfilled all orders, here's proof that haven't. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm in CA, they took one look at the shipping charge and decided no way.

So given that the 54" canopy just went uber cheap and looks remarkably similar to this one, is it blasphemous to think International is the manufacturer? I thought Waterloo did all the Craftsman stuff but I'm no expert
ive bought multiple CM boxes this year and some were waterloo and one or two were internationals. my big tower is a rebadged INT and i'm very happy with it--seems well built, looks good, and is perfect for a weekend wrencher. (btw...i got it for $520+tax with $175 back in points :))

and just a heads up to anyone that has a hometown close by, i just bought this 4-drawer CM 26" last night for $120, only available in black. picked it up today and they had the same thing in red on the floor for only $75. so i picked up the black, and immediately returned for the red, saving $45. moral of the story: its worth a few minutes to look around the hometown stores for something thats OOS online or even a better price.

Yeah, the 42" either just jumped in price, or I confused it with the now-out-of-stock one that was around $100.

Looking more closely, I see the 8 drawer 54in has a higher drawer weight capacity than the 7 drawer. so I think I'm going with that one for $25 more.
Thanks.

I paid $29.99 per set for these a couple weeks back, I got standard and metric. I had $25 worth of points to burn before they expired. I haven’t used them yet, but they seem fine. COO is China.

I just purchased some Gearwrench 120XP flex and regular ratchets, as well as the Gearbox XL wrench sets in standard and metric for $162.

I guess someone beat me to it because it now shows shipping unavailable.
:bounce: literally got my email confirmation on that 3 minutes after you posted. i think i stole the last one

youre linking to the CM version, its the international ones that are cheaper. the black 42" for $93 went OOS while in my cart so i chatted with a rep and asked if i could get free shipping on the red one for the same price. no go. so i asked about a few others on sale where one color came w free shipping and another for the same price didnt, he said he couldnt do anything. so he offered me $10 for the inconvenience and asked if i wanted to order the higher priced one. i asked if he could take $20 off the one above and he "checked with his supervisor" and said yes he could. so i got the ^^^ above for $110 minus points.

basically, if youve got some time to kill it doesnt hurt to ask a chat rep if they can help out. usually they cant, but i'll take a 42" top box for $54 OOP shipped to my door any day

I also bought the flex metric wrench a few weeks ago when it was ~$25. I have not use it but seems well made. Now waiting for the SAE to go on sale.

I have the CF version of the gearbox XL wrench. I really like them. It has helped on several occasions so it was a good buy.

...

If you chat for a price adjustment, you can get the ~$5 difference back as points. :)
