This started a month or two ago. It's everything that could be considered 'groceries' (which includes household consumables) at Kmart/Sears, of which batteries are one of the few things that would be carried at Sears. It's only a restriction for online ordering, so if you still have a local store, you can still buy them with points in person.

I didn't think I'd find anything to special to spend today's points, but all these crazy $**.94 prices are helping out. Maybe a former or current Sears employee can explain whether the 94 number means something, like the items will soon be discontinued/removed.

As for the ending cent amounts, they've all become pretty meaningless in recent years, but I think $0.94 is supposed to mean Hot Buy, $0.98 is Great Price, and $0.88 is Clearance.

btw...for anyone that has kmarts close by, remember to check K for the same tools because half the time its the same price with free ship to store, whereas sears is hit or miss for STS. i remembered that too late tonight

Thanks for posting these deals guys, I had no intention of spending the close to $200 I spent this morning, but I saved over twice that, per their normal no sale shelf prices.

Also, did you know that Sears limits your shopping cart to 25 items, I guess that is in an effort to not get you over the $100 to get the $15 back instantly. I am sure if I had spent more time I could have managed to get it, but their website was sucking and I really need to get to work.

Yes, I think AOSafety manufactures all the 3M-branded PPE products. :)


Oh, and re: the Craftsman 4ft aluminum level, they are still being manufactured by Johnson, but Johnson moved their production from their US factory to their China factory last year. I have them in 4ft ($25.71 last year) and 2ft ($15.30 and adjusted to $13.77 last year). One is US and the other is China. I can't tell which is which without checking what it says, really; I think Johnson has done a good job keeping their standards up overseas. DEFINITELY worth $12 for 4ft! :thumbup:
