That must be everyone's first__and lasting__impression!I got this last year, as the fulfillment of a lifelong goal. It has turned out even better than I thought it would.

Oh, that's a tall one! Granted, if someone over 6' wanted to stand straight up under a tall (truck or van-like) vehicle, the height would be required. But most overhead type 2-post lifts only require 12'.The lift is 13’-6” my ceilings are 14’-3”

Always good to have a little safety margin, as the ceiling in my detached garage is 12'4" from the floor to under the sheetrock.

I would eventually, that picture was taken less than a month after relocating from Ohio to Florida. It took me over a month to get moved in, unpacked and set up to work again, considering the numerous aspects of moving in and unpacking the house took precedentInstalling one of your subframe kits on that m roadster Randy?

Installed it this weekend.

JC Taylor, that is a deluxe setup/garage you have there.....kudos!
Mine....not so much, but it is a Nussbaum 7000 lb 7 ft scissor that's perfect for servicing my track/street car. Poor planning that I got it after finishing the restoration, but hey - glad I have it. Getting over 40" of lift inside the car shelter, probably get 48 once I slide the high bay lights over a bit.
Picked it up used from a Mercedes Benz dealership, needed to make up a few hydraulic hoses and the 240V wiring; got some adaptors, 14 qts of hydraulic fluid and bingo. My buddy from the Mustang club is a hoist service tech/millwright so I had proper supervision.
Bringing this thread into the new year! Mine is a "EAE EE-6503V2 Auto leveling" from HEI-Lifts.com I love it, using it for non tradition things is my favorite part.
How does it self level? I have a very similar lift so i'm curious
That is some slick sh!tThere is a photo eye that sends feedback and auto adjusts valves.
Both were purchased slightly used from local sellers, too!Recent addition to my new shop.
