Nice.

Dealer said the box has shipped and should be in my presence sooner rather than later.

Maybe I caught the tail end of the Royal blue paint slot.

The 1st Epiq on the left is a 60" in midnight blue and titanium trim, the center box is a 68" with stainless power top and the 3rd is also a 68" in gloss black and green trim and a bedlinered power top.

Wow, all three yours?

Wouldn't that be awesome?!
No, mine is the red one. While I was shopping for an Epiq there was a serious lack of real world pictures and information on different configurations. I post up various boxes from my coworkers to give you guys an idea of what's out there.

Very nice SLC! You boys like your EPIQs by the look of it. I guess they have to be low to go under wings, short to remain movable and deeper than KRL to fit more tools in? Both are good boxes no doubt but I see more and more people switch to EPIQ (in the US anyway). Are they much better than the Master series?

Nice photos SLC! I would love to one day have any one of those. I like the classic red, but the cranberry and midnight blue are classy..

By the way I break the ones you fix. When I was in training a little over a year ago I enjoyed a class trip down to the engine room and the chance to ask you guys some questions and get a close up view of the equipment and your world. I've always enjoyed wrenching on stuff and have many times considering trading my view up front for wrenching and staying somewhat more anchored at home. Staying in hotels isn't as glamorous as it sounds but I consider myself fortunate either way. I certainly appreciate the job you guys do. I'm currently transitioning to the ERJ and will be in SLC later this month for sim training.

It's normally never messy, I just happened to be moving between 3 large jobs in the shop and wasn't about to put everything away lol

That's what I mean, Busy. Looks like you are making $$$$ out of that EPIQ.

Good man

I see nobody has measured the draw'ers for me yet??!!

Looks like it's the measurement am gonna get.

Where's Strouty at when you need him?

I got 58 inches from the back of my box to the front if the drawer. And the drawers open all the way. a248c333e5e07443925595679b587240.jpg749359527239d52a498c431f46159e07.jpgba435da1d3f4729b6567fa9253ac0518.jpgagain, not that this solves anything, but now I know about mine, lol

I appreciate the pics and effort fella but .....

What I wanted is the Overhang height and depth. The overhang on the front inside edge of the Draws. You know? The part where you pull the drawerers open eats a small part of the inner draw space. I got 31mm control foam for my socket drawerwres

Here you go! I rapidly sketched it, but everything is very accurate. Let me know if you need more dimensions.

drawer1_zps1crxhwmj.jpg

drawer2_zpsa9zva2lo.jpg

drawer4_zpsunrt0stg.jpg

Drawer is: 30AE2004A
A : Roughly about 1.25" / 31.75mm

Edit opps i meant to type 26.6" instead of 26.

Wow that's bad ***! Thank you very much for that.

So I take it that's the 4" high drawer?

That information has kinda screwed my whole plan up.

yes this drawer i pulled out is about 4.25" from edge to edge tall.

Thanks again. I have spaced the tools 30mm out from the leading edge. Probably needs another 1/4" to clear the overhang of 1 7/16 ish. Don't want metal to metal every time I pick a tool.

Yeah some kinda sick game you playing. Crushing my plans and then coming up with a solution :bounce:

You need to sort that out

Don't have a pic, but mine is 68" epiq with 3 full length draws. With top chest and 1 side locker, will buy other side later. Mine is gloss black with metallic orange trim and black casters.

My apprentice has that exact box. Black on Orange. Love to see some pics of the whole set up.

Anyhow. The eagle has landed.

I've had my epiq for just over a year and love it. Snap on dealer told me the rock and roll truck was coming this week he knows that I've been thinking about adding a half locker to the right side. I went on the truck today and he had the side kiq that matches my box that he was trying to off load. List price was $5970
I scored it for $3370 otd which I was more than happy with. The only downside is that I have to wait 6-8 weeks for his replacement to come in.

Haven't seen that color combo before on an Epiq. The gray w/red anodized trim looks really sharp!!

I got some spots as well. But mine is gloss black. Nothing wrong with them.

is it really noticeable? if i had a better picture, you can actually see little dents on the bottom left corner of my box from about 5ft away. maybe because my color is white?
