Sberry, have you tried Carlyle adjustable wrenches? They open wider than Blue Point. The metal seems a little on the soft side.
I was under the impression the soft grips were always Swedish, then Spanish, never USA.
Made in Spain by Irega.
No. It's people like you that don't have a clue that just keep regurgitating things you've heard. Bahco has a plant in spain that makes most of the snap on specific or snap on branded tools. Bahco, spain, is where snap on files are made, the pliers wrenches, and a few speciality pliers as well as the Bahco Adjustable wrenches. Maybe you should spend about 5 minutes on googleFoo and you'd learn something. the Bahco branded smooth jaw adjustable wrenches are still made at the plant in sweden. The Flank drive adjustable wrench is unique to snap on, and is made in the snap on bahco plant in spain. Let me guess, you aren't aware snap on owns Bahco too?

This is not something that I would use often but the day you need it it’s a lifesaver. It also has a reversible head.

You have been under the wrong impression. This is actually pretty well known. Assuming is hazardous to your health.
A quick glance of the shape of the head should tell you it isn’t bahco made. (Spain or Sweden).
Another quick glance would reveal a raised snap on logo. Another quick glance would show the lack of the B (bahco) in the part number.
Hope this helps. These haven’t been made in 12-15+ years.
USA made snap on adjustables are :
AD6,8,10,12 smooth jaw, chrome handle
FAD6,8,10,12 flank drive jaws, chrome handle
ADH6,8,10,12 smooth jaw, soft grip handle
FADH6,8,10,12 flank drive jaw, soft grip.
Sweden or Spain units are made by bahco, now snap on owned. They have a thinner head profile, open 1/8" to 1/4" more than the older USA made ones, but the fitment is sloppy and the chrome flakes very easily. I don't care for the Bahco made ones, but I do have some 20-30 year old Bahco branded ones from Sweden before snap on acquired them that are excellent fit and finish.
FADH6,8,10,12B for bahco, then color code, bahco made flank drive
ADH6,8,10,12B smooth jaw, soft handle, bahco made
