Those look unused. Great find.
Cool find. Not sure I understand your question. Why would you doubt it being Long C? Your Reg. TM symbol (1946) comment also confuses me. That would make it very late Long C, like a bevel I have.
Ahh. Now I understand.I’ve just never seen one before. I was thinking maybe it was a more modern giveaway with the old logo.
I'm about to wrap up a short contract up in the Craftsman goldmine known as Pennsylvania. I've been using my spare time wisely. The bed, back seat, and passenger seat of my truck are full, I have to tap out and leave some goodies behind. Among the five pre-war motors coming home to me, one has a data plate I've not seen until now. Looking forward to getting this stuff home.

Being super broke is perequisite to living here, LOL. Timber, coal, oil, steel, gas - it’s yours for the cost of removal. The roads are paved with scratched-off lottery tickets.PA! I would be super broke if I lived there![]()

Seriously, finding cheap, plentiful things you want outside your local community is the whole reason for commerce.
I hope you paid the severence tax, JoCo.

... I know a general overall of what he got and sounds like he cleaned up !That would look good with the Golden Jubilee hacksaw frame, shown here. In fact, now that I think about it, a whole Golden Jubilee display would be a neat pursuit for a Long C guy.Tape measure

Pulled these 1/4 Drive BE marked sockets and original box from a flipper today. Went toe-to-toe with him on price, and in the end I think we both were satisfied with the result. My curiosity is that some of these are "Long C" and some are standard font (SK made?) is it possible that there were times when sets were hand stuffed in distribution centers to fill sets with whatever was on hand? Does the box itself (in original condition as shown) reveal any clue as to precise time this set may have been assembled? I have some Long C drive tools to add to the set at home.
Lucky me...this was an extra that came with a lot of other stuff i bid on at a daylong auction yesterday. I was originally excited to see the long c, so as a lightly brushed at it to move some dust, got even happier when blue paint started poking thru! Everything seems to be in good shape, ill post up a few more as it gets a bath later and see just how much original finish blue paint is left on it.
