I must've missed this thread the first time around, or don't remember it. That customer of Krusty, who threw the 3/8's extension is obviously imbalanced. I love stories like this though. My tool truck driver has a lot of good ones. Except when he was younger, he'd go as crazy as the type of guys who were throwing extensions.

...............I understand that while their wrenches & ratchets are made in the USA their sockets are not.

You brought this thread back to life after two years.
And I think you are mistaken. You may be confused by the new line of imported Cornwell tools talked about in this thread.
Or, you may be thinking of the new 72-tooth ratchet. I believe the guts of that new ratchet are imported, but the handle is made in the USA.
Also, this video of a Cornwell factory shows them making sockets. It's in the second half of the video.
This video also shows Cornwell making sockets. It's at about 8:30.

Me personally I just like the taste of snap on kool aid better. Matco's is a little too bitter. I have yet to taste Mac's and cornwell's because they never are around to be seen. And c man is like the wal Mart off brand **** that just is gross.

So far I only seen two Cornwell trucks in my area.. while seing like 4 snap on truck

Over here in the UK the only tool trucks are either Snapon or Mac so you don't get much of a choice.Some of the dealers are asses but the service/warranty is fine.
I do use a lot of Cornwell and I think there wrenches are better than Snapon.

I agree it's. It not the tool it's the vendor. Now I meet/call my vender directly he know I will basically never buy anything from him because I don't wrench for a living. I told him I inherited a old *** snap on ratchet. He tried to rebuild it and he said **** it the second time and handed me a new ratchet. It's because of his attitude I want to buy from him but it's just so expensive. I do plan to buy some nick nacks from him.
