I know its more money, but for $80 more, you can get the 400 piece Mastercraft Maximum socket set,reg $700 for $180 (highlighted in the flyer above)
Much better deal/bang for your buck. Both offer lifetime warranty, but with the Mastercraft product (Canadian Tires tool brand) if for what ever reason you need to warranty a tool, you simply walk in to any Canadian Tire and they give you a replacement right there, where you'll have to send the Stanley tool away if you need to warranty it.
Just my 2cents.
I ended up buying a Mastercraft Maximum Set, I think it was the 172 piece set for around $129.00 IIRC, and it was in the plastic moulded light grey case which is what I wanted, I'll post a picture of it later.
Looks like the latches on the box could be an issue if not treated with care as they are not very robust but I didn't like the Stanley ones much either.
The layout of the 164 piece Stanley set defied logic and it tries to cover too much by offering 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" but doesn't cover a very good range with either size. It also didn't include an extension for the 1/2" drive, also the sockets were really difficult to remove from the case, needed a screw driver to pry some of them out.
I actually got one of the employees to open up a few of the Stanley sets and the MC/Maximum sets so I could compare them and to test the quality of the ratchets.
I liked the MC/Maximum brand a little better even though they look like they may have come from the same factory, just felt they have a little better finish and the sockets are easy to remove from their indents.
I considered the set you posted above and have the older version of that set in my home workshop which I really like, but we don't have a suitable tool chest to store them in at the shop, so they would be messed up in no time unless I purchased a tool box for them.
