Luckily I had a tire in stock, no need to spend any money, especially since the trailer is going to the auction.

The M18 hydraulic pump is awesome, I bought it a while back, but haven't used it as much as I should be using it. I have invested in some new rams, so I will be using it more often. They are crazy expensive pumps, but I got this one at about half price, still hurt, but it sure beats having to use a bottle jack or pumping the hand pump. I wanted to have it for making hydraulic hoses in the field, both my Dad and my Brother have the Parker crimper and dies, so I can easily borrow that.

The knuckle boom is going to the auction with the trailer. This is the one that I was going to use, but then the Ex-Employee bent the extension ram on the boom, at that point it was cheaper to buy another knuckle boom, the ram was a telescoping type with two extension and it made some serious noise when you powered through the range of motion, Dad thought it would be fine, but I didn't care at that point, I wasn't having any part of it.

I noticed but I just assumed that the Knuckleboom would be removed. I just can't see Strouty letting one escape his clutches :ROFLMAO:

Spent the afternoon getting things shuffled around at the SG, then took all the wheels of the Muv-All trailer, got them delivered to the tire shop, they should be all prepped to have everything done tomorrow afternoon, that would be great, then I can put trailers back together so I can move them.

After all that, I just ordered the extended anvil 1" impact, I can't take another round of that, you have to hold it way out over a comfortable balance point and it killed my back, for one wheel it would be ok, but doing an entire truck or trailer, no thanks. I also need to order some wireless lights for the Tru-Hitch, the wired ones work, but it gets cumbersome to run 50' of cable, then find a suitable place to attach it. At this point I am all about making my life easier, well to a point......

I just got the F-350 and the ramp truck unloaded, now Clark is on the old tag trailer, probably for the last time, the trailer is headed to the auction next week. At this point I will be gaining space by selling the 5th wheel camper, the black tag trailer, the yellow tilt trailer, hopefully the C-70 crane, and a bunch of other miscellaneous things (should be a few pallet loads). This should give me a bit of breathing room and a bit of a cash infusion. I am going to list the 5 ton tractor truck for sale, I just don't dare put it in the auction, could sell too cheap for my liking. The rest of the stuff is essentially whatever I get, is what I get and I won't miss it, that should be a good thing, right?

The only thing that ***** right now is not having two 4x4 forklifts, but we are going to change that in about another month, another gracious GJer has offered up Clark's twin and I am going to take him up on the offer. That should really open things up for both the SG and the Hill, rather than one or the other, plus save on transportation back and forth. I can't wait, but I have to, still need to finish up some things on the Muv-All trailer and then I need to pick up both of the loaders, one in CT, the other in NY, so I suspect it won't be for a couple months before "Griswold" comes home.

Good luck with the auction. I suspect that as the first live auction for a while, the buyers and therefore the prices should be good. But really, what do I know.

I am hopeful that the auction brings good prices, especially with my stuff. ;)

The Muv-All needs a few more things before I will take it road tripping, airbags, emergency brake upgrade, winch cable, a couple new lights.

they have been having the equipment auctions in paris, I skipped the last one because junk was stupid high at the spring one.
Next ones the 23rd. dunno if I will go.

I decided to do one more tire swap, this is for the deck over tag that is going to the auction, I have four decent rims left and it has really ugly outers, so if I paint the four rims I have, then swap the tires from the crappy rims, it should look like a million dollars, well, at least a few thousand dollars. I also found a cool looking remounting tool that works on small tires and big tires with fairly minimal effort, I may try and build one as it is fairly simple design wise. At this point I am going to have several hundred dollars in dismounting and mounting all these tires, could have paid for the tool, but I don’t have the time right now, so it really doesn’t matter. I am sure at this point the tire guy thinks I am insane, I have changed my mind about ten times. ;)

They said the tires and rims that I need should be done for late this afternoon, I hope so, I should be able to get at least one trailer put back together this weekend. I won't have all the rims cleaned up and painted for a couple days, but I really would like to get those done so tires can go back on them Monday, just depends on how busy I get with all the auction prep this weekend.

I need to get my sandblast cabinet back together enough so I can clean up the rims and other pieces, if I can't do it easily, I have a small handheld unit that will do it, but it is an outside thing and the rain is kind of messing me up right now. Once again another project to get a project done, that creates more projects so I can do other projects, am I projecting?

I will miss my Clark

it is an awesome machine and dead reliable

I only considered it because of your posting and love for your machine coupled with my need of room

it makes me happy that I will be able to watch it from afar

I was wearing the blue one, the pink one went to the cleaners, I think the card was in the pocket.

Clark is not going to the auction, I had to bring him to the Hill from the SG for the weekend to load up things.

It will get used for sure, although Benson may have to go away. I haven’t figured all that out yet. Logistics like that take me a while. ;)

If you can get Benson running, he can be for tower site and dock work. That way the Clark twins can stay home where they’re needed.

Looks like things are better all around, lighting, and truck-trailer combo. Were the tires done? Weren't they supposed finish them today?

I need to paint that wheel black, the ram ruins the whole thing.

The tires and wheels for the step deck were done, I took of the last wheels today, now I have to clean and paint some wheels tomorrow night.

Back at it today, I hope to have all the smaller stuff gathered up for the auction, unfortunately the mud has stopped the thought of bringing the C-70 crane there, we tried to get it out yesterday and all we did is sink about a foot into the mud after moving about four feet forward. It isn't the end of the world, if I can't get it sold, I can still part it out or scrap it for decent enough money. We should be able to get the fifth wheel camper out, so that will go away too. At this point I feel good about what it going, it will clear some space. I will have to work on getting my scrap in check, there should be quite a bit of that too. Then I have to start moving everything from the Conex into the moving van trailer, that will allow me to start building the rolling shelving to fit the Conex. One piece of many puzzles.......
