Those dimple dies look great. Like all the other work you post here.
I think those would work great with the new 50Ton press I got last year.
Anxiously awaiting the weblink...

Ok guys, I just got the call from the platers. I can pick em up on Wednesday.:rocker:

I can now safely offer them up to members again.

Here is the link to get them from.:http://clubvirages.com/index.php?op...iew=category&virtuemart_category_id=4&lang=en

Please keep in mind that I started making these for GJ members out of a need for some, when another member dropped the ball on getting them made.
I've only sold sets to members so far ,more out of a service than a business.
They are rather inexpensive and made for the hobbyists on here. Therefore I really don't make that much coin on them. Especially that I had to re program and figure out how to make them all over again after the shop computer got zapped by lightning a ways back........

The other day, I saw an episode of the guys at WELDERUP. I thick it's called Vagas rat rods or something. Any how they were dimpling some holes on a project and I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw that there dies were yellow zinc plated! They weren't my dies but that was interesting....

Goggling, I see that others have now started making Pipe sized dies compatible with the HF knock out punch.

Getting copied is actually sort of flattering in some way.:)

So, about the link.
You can browse all you want, but if you wish to buy you must register..Like anywhere else on the web....
Please don't send me PM's saying it won't work..if you register, everything should go fine in your purchase.

The kits are HEAVY and shipping should cost in the 50 dollar rage for north America.

Unless your from nowhere Arizona where I was quoted 150 bucks.
Alaska was in the 300 range...
and Europe is 100 to 150

I have 27 Pipe sized and 10 Standard kits available as well as individual sizes already in stock.

First come first served.

Last time ,I had over 40 members all over me to get them as fast as possible......only 6 guys came through.
It took a couple of years to move the rest..

Just to make sure I understand what I was seeing on your website, If I order a set of 6, standard size dies, the cost is $145. If I order the first six sizes individually, they add up to $123. Am I missing something?

Can we pass by your shop to pick them up (and stare at the sick stuff in it?)

Always a pleasure to have a GJ member stop in for a visit.
PM sent.

It's a screw up.. I have to get that fixed. Thanks for pointing that out.

I sent you a PM, tried placing an order last night for the standard set. Registered, filled out everything in the order form, etc. then got to the end and the only payment option it would let me select is cash on delivery, picking them up in person from you. I'm assuming the shipping calculator isn't up and running possibly. Either way I'd like to get my order in for a set of standard dies before they end up being sold out or something!

What's the difference between pipe dimples and regular dimples? I'm still in the remedial fabrication class.

Sizes. Tubing is spec'd by OD, pipe is by ID. You need the dimple die to be the right size for the hole you drilled. People like using pipe sizes because stuff like the greenlee punches are readily available.

Just spoke to the web master.
He tells me that several orders went through no problem so far...
Many have registered but not completed orders yet.
If your not getting a confirmation for having registered, then your spam blocker may not be letting his e mails through.
I had this exact problem when I tried to register myself yesterday.:headscrat

I chose the shipping option but it didn't do it. Should it email me a quote?

Thanks,
Scott

You have to make sure you get right to the end of the process...Yes you should be getting an e-mail.
Could be the darnned internet. He lives a short drive away, yet I got 2 and 3 day old mails from him this mornig.:dunno:

So which is the correct price?

I just asked the web master to bump up the individual pricing.
The set should now be the cheaper alternative.

I just came back from the big city with a load of these!

With that I was able to complete these sets too.
Standard dies oiled and ready to box.

I see I have 6 confirmed orders in my inbox already.

Nicole tells me she can see there's several order attempts that didn't reach completion... try, try again is what my Mom used to say..:)

I will be shipping Monday morning.

I wish I could sooner but I'm off at 6 am to have my sons tonsils removed tomorrow..and have to be at a customers place on Friday morning...

Hang in there just a little longer guys.
