What are the chances of allowing a fellow GJ'er to see your set up if he and his family were to be in the vicinity? We are planning a trip out that way for next summer...

Here's the latest on the build.

Hot water tubes laid out this week for in floor heat. We hope to have concrete poured mid week. Then get busy again with electrical.

And here's upstairs. We still need to tie it into the existing space in the current shop.

A few new pictures with the pad complete. It doesn't seem like I'll ever finish the electrical! Sorry for the 90 degree rotation on the photos.

Slow to update. I've been busy trying to get the electrical done. Here's a few updated pictures. We all love pictures!!

And more concrete! We decided that a small pad beside the garage would be great for the kids to play on, and some additional parking.

What a great place to start with, beautiful view and amazing addition!
What's that huge second floor space going to be used for?

Thanks for the compliments guys! Lots of work left to do.

Internet dude:Using zip ties is approved in Canada.

BluCamaro: the idea with the upstairs is for entertaining and spending time with the kids.

Small update. Just waiting for some better weather for the last concrete pour.

The weather gives me a chance to get all the A/V wiring run though.

Great build; Great cars; Subscribed, waiting to see what cars you get to fill this new garage. The electrical may be taking you a while, but the time and care put in is evident. Do you think you will ever need all the lights on? kidding, but looks like you won't have any dark areas.

I've slowed down the progress for a week or two. Ever since we started i have been debating a/c. Even though it's only a man cave, it'll be hard to enjoy if it's 90 upstairs! The change now delays insulation while ducts are run.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!
Your going to need a live in mechanic/detailer with all the projects you can tackle in the space.
Give me 24 hours and I'll be right over...my wife is a accredited detailer/ baby sitter and I am a jack of all trades.
So, are you thinking of supplementing your income with a specific product or service in the space...or just hosting car club events and storing toys?

Sorry for the slow updates.

Drywall is up and taping is underway. It is starting to feel like a shop now.

wow, amazing shop! Very clean job on that panel... I thought mine was tidy and organized!
I spent some time around Kelowna and loved the area.
