Thank you for the invitation hospitality and shop tour JB.
Both of us were very impressed with all you have done, and your engineering skills and results.
No wonder you and Andy get on so well.
Have pasted the entry below for continuity
So after Craig’s blood letting ceremony at just before daybreak, we headed out to JB’s place about 25 minutes from the motel.
After all, he had invited us to be there from 04.00 onward.
The heat and humidity throughout the trip had been high, mostly around 36’C and crazy humidity, so air on nonstop, and we had a large YETI Coolbox locked into the rear bed of the Dually as they are not cheap at all, Google the Yeti boxes to get an idea.
One of our daily rituals was to “steal” ice from our Hotel or motel or buy ice at the first gas station we saw, in order to keep a cooler full of drinks at hand.
Ritual: Drain plug out, train melted ice, top up dink’s and ice.
In this case........
Take note the size of the forecourt Ice maker and dispenser.
Larger than a UK single garage.
You can buy ice at $2.00 per bag, or buy in bulk,at half the price..... distributed directly from a chute, into the box.
We selected the cheaper option, way more than needed.
Also got breakfast, these were gross !!
Just sweet covered in chocolate like stuff.
And coffee, which was better.
Then on to the small village of Braman near which JB lived.
We messaged JB when we got to town, may even have surprised him with being earlier than expected, BUT.....
He was back in town to get some fresh donuts for his girls, so we were greeted by his dogs, always a happy place for me.
Once he made it back, we were straight into his shop.

This was a great spot for Craig as JB has been working on getting Herb “BugThugs” Chevrolet Hears fully road worthy.
Herbs thread:

It’s a biiiiig car.
Herb had also given me a plate for Clem in Fayetteville the night before.
And a very cool plate for my collection.
Some other interesting things were the toys JB keeps.....
For his daughters, these fascinated Craignas he has. 7 year old girl too.
JB has a hot, full size Cobra too.
Found in a ditch. Taken for Dennis.
One more thing was that the Dually had suddenly started showing tyre pressure warnings, all six were different and two were at 50psi in stead of recommend 75psi.
So JB pulled out his 50 Meyer hose from the shop.
Job done.
We also got shown his 2000 model S10 with 6.0 litre V8 conversion that looks totally factory.
After this we left as it was already getting hot and he had a 4 hr lawn mowing session ahead on his ride on mower.
These beautiful big yards have their own problems...... like massive lawns.
Once done at JB’s we headed further down into Oklahoma toward Ada.
I had been there before and we were headed to see Paul, and Brandon of the Chickasaw Nation whom I had met 5 years ago.
We also stopped at a yard sale, and I managed to pick up a sip up cool bag for 25 cents that worked for keeping our chocolate etc cool inside the truck, which turned into an oven every time we parked up.
After this we filled the Dually, spoke to some strangers from Denver Colorado and got invited to visit them too.
Craig freaked out at these delicacies
As well as filling up, we bought ourselves a hot breakfast.....
Good coffee, Fried Catfish for me, and to share some fried Mozzarella cheese sticks and deep fried pickles for Craig.
Sounds good??
You should have tasted them.
Then a long drive.......
