Dan, that wall looks great, honored to be part of it.
Look forward to seeing it progress.

Another commonality. I noticed from the wall that there is a "Sunshine State" in both US and Australia.

Dan,
(Did you really just call Shorty, Shoty....?![]()

It's alright I fixed it for you)...
That's looking better. More on the way. And I might put a bit more Australiana with it.......![]()

Thank you Lyndon. You're invited to the our August beerfest and Dan can stay home and organize.![]()
) I'm in charge of the ice for the beer. I plan on filling the back of the pick up leaving here with it early Thursday morning. Make a stop in SC for the night and then drive through to Gerards. How's that for a plan? You'd better talk to cb about that Shorty(see Lyndon, I got it right) I'm in charge of the ice for the beer. Oh and Lyndon, how much do you want to judge my garage as the best![]()

As to the "looks bad" comment...I always quote Long John Silver..."beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I be holdin her now." (Said with a pirates growl).
Seriously, those engine bars are so useful for lots of jobs. I use mine to hold the complete front clip off my Nomad steady when putting it on and off by myself.[/QUOTE]
It's not a tool that gets used often, but when it's needed, there's nothing better. It's very versatile as you just mentioned.
So if there's an engine bar, where do transmissions go to drink?
Time to google engine bar. Glad you have my part of the seat finished. Looking good.![]()
Shorty K, you said
"So if there's an engine bar, where do transmissions go to drink?"
well, I thought you would know this one...The Blue Oyster Club of course.........
Or.....The Red Fluid Bar.![]()

Just a quick update. I had a few minutes yesterday to get one of the backs attached to the bench. And the cover on the other side so maybe I'll have the front seat back in the old girl before too long.
Today we are going to change out a sub frame on a Ford Taurus.
The rest of the car really isn't that bad. The owner thinks it's worth it. They're looking to just get another year or two out of it.
Those seats are coming along great! That subframe is nasty... I'm glad stuff generally doesn't rust like that here in Aus (not on something that new anyway!).

Dan
Lyndon, there's no ditch anywhere in the picture.![]()
(Obscure Down Underer here......)Ok Shorty - I'll buy it? - WTF are you talkin' 'bout?![]()

Lyndon
Yeah - that one!
tip of the tinny to ya mate.
Damn, I hope I get my lift operational before you because my FC brothers will paint and feather me if I keep procrastinating.
May I suggest that you take your new ride on a long distance shake down test ride so you can ensure the truck is comfortable before taking the Mrs. on a trip. Point the truck south and we'll see you at Gerard's on the 5th.
