I've been looking (mostly on Gooogle images) into who makes CK drivers. I think they are from more than one manufacturer. Triton are Taiwan. Torque screwdrivers are Felo. I'm pretty sure Classic and Dextro are Wuro/Athlet.
Going off these images for Classic.
More than one manufacturer may have made drivers with similar diamond pattern handles, so it's not definite.

Yes, I’m sure you are right. They were fairly open about the origins of the Taiwanese drivers when they were introduced, as I recall. They were always an “economy” line, and they never implied they were German
That’s pretty good detective work on the classic drivers though. Those handles look exactly right!
I have to confess I have never heard of Wuro though. You learn something every day!

Comparing Wiha double bits with Xiaomi.
Xiaomi bits are a little longer. However, they are interchangeable.

Oregon (aka Blount Industries) doesn't sell it in the U.S. any longer; they do private label it for Husqvarna as "Titanium Force". I've used it for years; good stuff, very durable around rocks and fences.

Here’s my new Victorinox Hunter Pro Alox in 2021 limited edition orange.
These are quite hefty knives (just under a 4” blade) but incredibly slim. I love the heft and the overall build quality. Not so keen on the matte finish blade, and I’ve seen better executed scandi grinds, but overall I love these.

i thought this extendable one was an interesting variant.
I bought one of these KER drivers recently based on this exchange (and a few of the aliexpress ones but those haven't arrived yet) and got the chance to use it this week for the first time. Have to say that I have always passed on the PB version when it's come up because i didn't think the handle was going to be comfortable to use. I have this weird thing about symmetry, even perceived. Really genuinely impressed that this handle even when i'm looking right at it doesn't feel any different on the yellow vs grey sections. can't feel the seam when using it, etc.
Still not sure I would be going out of my way to buy drivers with a socket in the middle to be used as a T handle (the other style i won't buy because of symmetry of feel or whatever you want to call it).
I also have the Felo R-GO driver to make as direct a comparison as possible considering they are 1/4" and 4mm drives; both are just as easy to use one handed to set (and reset) the angle, adjust the ratcheting on/off/reverse, and generally the same capacity for ratcheting. I'd buy the KER one again if it broke but the thing feels really solid and if you have any PB drivers you know what i mean their plastic handles feel different than others, the KER feels very PB which is very nice.
I also decided I would not like the PB handle after looking at photos, but changed my mind after using the KER. Apart from one of the bits being really hard to get your fingertips on in the storage, it works very well.
Spotted an anomaly. One of the bits (slotted) has stamped markings. Maybe left over from when production was in Germany. As noted in the vid, I don't know if 'stamped' vs 'printed' is an infallible way of knowing COO.
The slotted sizes are 2.5 and 3. Both are too big to use on my glasses screws. I think sizes 2 and 3 would be more useful for most people and cover a larger range of screws.

I just realised my last post in Garage Journal was back in 2012
anyway, I got this recently because I want it, not needing it
I got the slightly older version of that Hazet set a couple of years back.
I don’t have many socket “sets” as such, and it’s quite nice having everything in one compact box, though I wish it was a metal box (I would pay) and there’s no way you are going to shift a torqued up 27mm bolt with that short ratchet!
Those particular sets often seem to be on a factory promotion, and are generally an awesome deal.
I saw they had released a new version with the HiPer ratchets, and don’t seem to have loaded the price that much!

Nice sets! I bought that Hazet set and the Hazet 3/8 with the 30t ratchets right before they released the HiPer ratchet set. Getting the HP ratchets separately would be about $170! That HP set is the one to get. Only 6 euros more than the one with older ratchets
Some French NOS items I got recently.
The SAM wrenches are nice as expected from SAM. Haven't used their tools much but those that I have seen have all looked good.
The Sacca adjustable wrench though looks a bit cheap. The box is cool though (and shows a better looking wrench). I know nothing about Sacca tools and couldn't find much info either. That probably speaks for them not being that desirable...
They seem to have closed down a few years ago though, and I don't know when this one is from.
Würth Year End Sale and Stahlwille eBay find
Würth had some good sales and package deals at the end of the year. Here’s what I picked up.
View media item 1097191/4” drive spinner handle/extension, T-handle 1/4” hex ratchet with long bitholder, “Limited Edition” black 11mm outer hex+1/4” drive set with bits, 105 pc “all the bits” set.
Spinner handle is the best currently on the market: comfortable handle and female square on top. Also good length.
The T-handle (which was bundled with the bit set and spinner - they have the same deal running through the end of the month) is your standard Reverse Gear ratchet, but the handle shape allows more torque than my other T, from Williams, so I think I’ll use this one more even if the Williams mechanism is better. Blade retention could be better, but it’s fine overall.

I already had Würth’s 90 pc all the bits set in my workbench, but this one is even more comprehensive. It loses a few compared the 90 bit set (e.g. 3mm slotted, SQ0) but gains the longer bits as well as the 5-point security bits. I already replaced the hex bits with Wera (because hex plus is better) and PH with PB Swiss (solely for ease of visual ID) but otherwise the bits are fine and nothing beats having everything you might ever run across (except for micro sizes) in one nicely-packaged set.

Ratchet can be fashioned into a T-handle (bits or sockets, using the included 1/4” square adaptor) but is not shaped to slide through the bit holder like the extensions with other Reverse Gear bit ratchets (e.g. Facom/USAG, KS Tools).
Bits here are standard 1” rather than the nice short ones in their other set.

Long story short, buy that one, not this one. The standard one is a more useful set for most uses where you’d want to use a bit ratchet, and probably the best overall compact bit ratchet and socket set set on the market at any price right now.

Has combo wrenches from 6-19mm, a flashlight, and metric hex keys.)

Flashlight is a neat idea that could be executed better. The power button should be on the handle, not the head.

Ordered some new springs to try and reduce backdrag on a 1/2" Stahlwille. Didn't want to cut the original spring, because I think I will be selling the ratchet on. Got the spring from a Chinese seller on Ebay. Thinner gauge wire so a softer spring.
The softer spring results in much lower backdrag and the ratchet mechanism still seams to work properly, but the switch became floppy. Just stays where you leave it rather than positively engaging on either side. Not recommended.
Found that compressing the original spring for a min in pliers and refitting helps quite a bit without affecting function.
Been using a friend's Dewalt drill at work that has a magnetic bit holder on the opposite side to the belt hook. Found it really useful when switching between a drill bit and a screwdriver bit, but couldn't find one available for Hitachi so made one. Bit ugly but works.
