This is my drill. It was made by Loewe in Berlin/ Germany and will probably last another hundred years. I am just about to get the old paint of to get it repainted.

Also the lighters sold here used to be made in Holland but now Philipines.

I'll have to ask my mate in Manchester to pick me up one of those lighters the next time he goes to jail.

not yet :) i have some Wiha bits which i mostly use, the USH set is a "backup" in case the other bits dont work anymore.

i have this Kress dealer for Malaysia for you:

DIA-KRESS SYSTEMS ASIA PTE LTD
BLK 211 Woodlands Avenue 9
#04-70/71 Woodlands Spectrum II
738960 Singapore

phone + 65 68 770 408
Fax + 65 68 770 456
[email protected]

The japanese flash light has a bulb, it still works, i think its from the 70´s or 80´s , my father brought it from japan (together with 2 Casio calculators which still work too) when he was working on a ship.

btw. tools from Holland: There was once a company called "Nooitgedagt" which made chisels and measuring tools which was sold in 1997 to "Record" ( now "Irwin"/Newell Rubbermaid). So there were Irwin tools made in Holland until 2004 when the factory was closed by Newell Rubbermaid. The new squares i saw are made in England.
www.nooitgedagt-ijlst.nl

Ok..a bits not sell anymore right! :bounce:
Thanks for a Kress dealer:beer: maybe i should visit her:drool:
Wow! awesome flashlight + culculators it very old but still working..Japanese know how to built a tough electronic stuff

Nice Holland made tools:thumbup:
Btw: thanks to share a pics:beer:

My Vessel Megadoras showed up today. While I haven't used them to extract a very stuck cross-shape JIS screw, I'm quite confident that they are JIS-compatible. I pulled a screw out of the dash of my car (Subaru). The Megadora "locked in" with that solid feeling fit that you get when you use a JIS driver in a JIS screw and the screw would "hang on" to the tip without falling off if you held the driver horizontal, which is another hallmark of the JIS-JIS combination.

Yeahh!! Vessel screwdriver confirm a JIS certificate..for a JIS screws Vessel is the best screwdriver to use..Megadora have a comfortable handle too:beer:

Btw: I had a very good experienced with Vessel Megadora, SoftGrip, and BallGrip screwdrivers..Awesome!!:thumbup:

Oh almost forgot...

A wood folding rule or?

"Wurth" grinder from one of the garage buddies

Nice!

something from the flea market:

"Flex" brand 7" polisher made by Ackermann & Schmitt.
www.Flex-Tools.de

Awesome!!
How old a polisher?
Btw: Nice to see a West Germany made:)

Actually the seller wants $100. Is it reasonable for both of us for me to offer him say $70 or $50. Frankly speaking I'm at a loss how to price these.

Thanks

Hello JayL, I don't know how things are in the Philippines, but a well used facom double spoon can sell for 100€ in France.
What is one month of minimum wage worth in your country ?

Thanks for the reply.

Depends on the work. Blue collar job wages are cheap over here.

Do you reckon the Peddinghaus body work tools are top quality. I was just checking Martin brand and these looks very good too. Prices as well.

http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/martin-tools-m-146.aspx

The Peddinghaus tools I posted looks to be beat up but they're not. Dirty and a bit rusty only.

I forgot to add this mallet in the pics.

yes you should visit the Kress dealer :) and buy something ! :D

i dont know exactly how old the polisher ist, but i guess because of the metal housing and the design somewhen from the 1960`s

ps: nice rulers !

Are all these Old World Tools still worth $100.

the body dollies alone are like 40-50 $ each in new, if the steel is still good you could clean them with a 3M cleaning /surface conditioning disc to polish them again, add a little bit of paint and they look like new.

Monte, thank you for this nice review:thumbup:
Also, what do you think about JMP chargers ?

ps : did you get my pm ?

I dunno, they look good and seem to have the same features than C-tek at a lower price, but i spend the most time at the Hazet booth so i will ask them about the chargers on sunday because i have to pick up some schnitzel and currywurst for free there anyway :D
ps: yes :)

Interesting American made Bosch(I still prefer Swiss but USA made is cool too) also where can I get the Bosch candy at? I think my nephew would like that(he thinks my 18V Lithion drill is a toy lol.)

yeah swiss would be better :D
ps: the new cordless drills are all malaysian. Switzerland shut the doors :D
At a exhibition/fair you should find the free candy. Unfortunately my candy is already in my belly :) Your nephew is right :D Real tools have a cord :D lol
