I needed new set of wrenches and accidentally watched some tools in one store. I bought them on clearance (seems, nobody wants to buy this type of wrenhes). I had nothing against them and for about 23euros. Regular price is about 81eur.:willy_nil
*snip*
Man, that's a nice deal.

@drakfire. Yes, Bhae has a shop.

Very good first post ! Now you´re allowed to post more ;) :D ;)
Beautiful Gressel vise ! Reminds me on the Leinen vises
http://www.fza-morsificio.com/leinen.htm

My latest acquisition, a NEW OLD STOCK 1984 torque wrench tester by Stahlwille:pimpflash I will post my other 'old world' European tools here in due time
wow that thing is uber-cool !!!:rocker:

Monte clean your inbox lol

someone know if matador sockets are imported or made in Germany, and how good they are?

ok :)

the new Matador sockets they sell here at Bauhaus don´t have "Germany" stamped on them and look like the typical Taiwan import with a different finish (sleek + clean) and plated inside of the socket while the german sockets are usually silver on the inside.

New on forum, so just wanted to "sign" with some pictures.

Unior Ibex 129/1CB fast combination wrench set (12pcs, size 8-24). Made in Slovenia, former Yugoslav republic. High quality tools with lifetime warranty.:)
interesting wrenches :pimpflash

So I take the stubby with the straight tape and regular 7ur with angle. :D
good decision :D :rocker:

Some nice, well used tools. I like them.

While I was working in an old africa twin with a friend I grab the camera and try to take some "tools in action".
cool pics !!:rocker: ...and nice tools ;):pimpflash
is that a Gedore locking extension ? Is there a "Germany" on the extension ?

So I'm a bit late with posting last weeks finds, but here they come:

you seriously **** :D:D ;)
The pliers are cool !!! And that vintage Bahco and Belzer stuff......you **** :D

My new German blind rivet gun.

male square drive piece is missing and it didn´t turn anymore...

Ok, now it's time to see some old school tools made in the country that actually does not exist anymore - SFR Yugoslavia.:locked:

1. Yellow screwdriver - I found it as child, playing around block where I live. Made by TANG, one of best tool makers in former Yugoslavia. TANG is from Nova Gradiška, today's Croatia. It's part of Eurozappa group, but unfortunately doesn't make tools anymore.

2. Black flat screwdriver - One big tool, 10mm wide on the tip. Probably older than me, my grandpa tool. :) Made by TIK in former Yugoslavia. TIK is from Kobarid, today's Slovenia. Seems they now it produce medical disposable devices.

3. Red flat screwdriver. Similar as black one, older than me, in mint condition after so many years. :) Made by UNIOR in former Yugoslavia. If you look better you will see "Z" letter on the left side of handle. Because UNIOR is from Zreče, today's Slovenia. Good thing is that they still produce high quality tools.

4. Voltage tester screwdriver - Also made by UNIOR in former Yugoslavia. Older than me, used in wide range of works, tip is not so perfect...But still helps to see if electric current flows through wires. :D

I'm super happy with the pliers. Really the find of the year.

That's a cool ratchet! Simple but functional mechanism. Getting a new push though drive piece can't be that difficult?

Nice Palmera Catches!!! thanks for share!

Thanks!

So almost instantly I regretted not getting more Bahco 6000 screwdrivers. So I went back one more time. All the good ones were gone though... But some other stuff was bought:

In the 20:- "assorted sockets" bin I found these. Belzer 3/8" E-Torx 10-20 (10,11,12,14,16,18,20). Not that I ever use E-Torx, but might come handy some day :)
IMG_1588.jpg

Belzer PH2-4 3/8" bit sockets. Also from the assorted sockets bin.

Recently saw a Yugoslavian screwdriver in a local secondhand toolshop but the end was too worn for me. Would of tempted if it had been OK.
Not sure about anyone else but I quite like seeing these older tools, makes the thread look a bit less like an Ebay shop.

I bet the new has very good quality but without the "made in Germany", their strength is reduced. :lol_hitti
Ok I'm kidding but the "made in Germany" is synonymous with quality for me.
Also the older had better look. Of course this is subjective.

Today is my first post on GJ,Here is a Swiss-made Gressel bench vise, which is the heartbeat of the shop.
Welcome Angoo
the most beautiful bench vise I ever seen :shocking:

My latest acquisition, a NEW OLD STOCK 1984 torque wrench tester by Stahlwille:pimpflash
Awesome  :eyecrazy:

New on forum, so just wanted to "sign" with some pictures.
Unior Ibex 129/1CB fast combination wrench set (12pcs, size 8-24). Made in Slovenia, former Yugoslav republic. High quality tools with lifetime warranty.:)
Nice Unior fast wrenches:thumbup:
thanks to sharing:beer:

While I was working in an old africa twin with a friend I grab the camera and try to take some "tools in action".
Nice tools and "tools in action" pictures:thumbup:

Nice restorations! Must have been a lot of sanding! :eyecrazy:
Yeahh you are right I'm very tired:drool:...

Bahco 6000 Series screwdrivers NOS. 20:- SEK each (regardless of size). Marked "Bahco Sweden" but there is a "Made in Germany" print on the lower part of the handle.
Wow!! that nice.. I like the green color handle:eyecrazy:

Sandvik Belzer ignition wrenches (6-10). Made in Germany NOS, 20:- SEK each.
Bahco locking flex ratcheting wrenches. 8, 10-14, 17 and 19mm. No COO, 500:- SEK for the set.
More tweezers. Sandvik Belzer, Swiss made. 20:- SEK each.
All Belzer tools at store is yours..

Then the best finds of the day I think. This set of three Spain made Palmera pliers was only 150:- SEK. Some minor rust and a bit of discoloration on the handles, but great price for quality pliers.
And then this big waterpump plier. Spain made Palmera also, and just 100:- SEK. And also a Palmera PH2 screwdriver (20:- SEK).
So lucky:thumbup:

@Bhae
Awesome shot :shocking::drool::thumbup:
Thanks to share:beer:

A few more essential tools from the garden shed:
USAG 1/2" T-handle socket driver and ratchet, USAG T-handle swivel hex wrenches, USAG 1/2" sockets and extensions, and USAG 1/4" sockets along with some PB Swiss long-shank hex ends and a beautiful Hazet T-30 Torx wrench. Thanks everyone for your welcome to me! I will post more tools from Europe soon!

690+ pages of Gedore goodness.

lok and all his fancy Gedore pictures made me do it. (I blame Monte too of course)

Ordered it from the Gedore.de site wednesday last week and it was in my p.o. box yesterday. Shipped from a norwegian dealer. Free of charge.

A note for anyone else ordering a catalog from Gedore. I got an email from Gedore asking me to verify my catalog order and that email ended up in my spam filter.

Welcome to the forum caibird.

Good friend. Are those relatively new tools?

Yes but not all. The wurth are the newest and haven't seen a lot of work. He has a lot more than that, but it was not able to take photos to everything.
