Yes it is!
for me it's a good enough if I compare with all my adjustable wrenches I owned. A smooth jaw slide with minimum jaw "wobble".

Ok then. Maybe I try them. Thanks

...and the only one can beat Ridgid :D

Yes I know! :D
sorry to reposted them:D

Me too! :D

Thanks buddy.
Yep, I know how you feeling. Neither here in Greece the price was good. Not for these with the soft handle.

Very nice old ratcheting wrenches Rusik.

My little boy would be over the moon if I got one of those, but I'm not sure the sheep would be happy being sharpened on the grinder :D
:lol_hitti

I would have bought that at Aldi or Lidl (most likely Aldi I think). Label is a bit worn, but looks like Bruck or Brueck or similar.

EDIT: Here it is - http://www.brueck-buersten.de
Thanks for the Link !!

only the pics, where is the drill already sell it?:D
yes its gone :) not enough power... :D
that a prices for first quotation from Wuerth Malaysia, but yesterday he's email me again and apologies for a "mispriced" or "over-price"..so the correct price for Zebra Philip no.2 -
0613 2012 (Philips #2 X 100) is RM 95:(
do you think it's a fair prices to purchase Zebra screwdrivers?
Please check your PM, I send you another Wurth screwdrivers prices I received from Wuerth Malaysia.:)
Wurth is known to be expensive....iirc the list price for that 5pc. screwdriver set was something like 70€ or so....
street prices are better though....
http://www.ebay.de/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_nkw=würth+schraubendreher&rt=nc

i have to check the prices in-store since i dont have online access to the Wurth store.

are you sure..it's the real Wuerth catalog 2012 pic:headscrat :shocking: a set for 5 pc Zebra for 34,95 Euro + 19% Vat or RM140.00:shocking: I really need this set for that prices     :drool:
you are so lucky live in Germany... everything is around you with a very good quality and the prices is very good too:thumbup:
God bless German....
yes its from a 2012 promo flyer. I´ll see if they can still do the price....:)

 Correct, but i have a problem. It's the same guy!!!

oh oh

Thats nice, thanks. It has sold? What replaced it?
yeah i sold it years ago and bought a Metabo SBE 1010 because i needed more power :)

Let's have a little peek inside through the window...

very nice shop filled with european goodies

It's a special tool from france.
Sorry not in action pics for this one.
:lol_hitti

Its just a 12v drill and old NimH technology. Although the battery is not fully dead and its quite powerful for that voltage I want to replace it with some good quality bosch 18v stuff.
i think a good replacement for the old 12 volt nicd/nimh stuff is 10,8 volt li-ion...but you already have it:thumbup: But to own 10,8 volt and 18 Volt is a good combination i think.

Great thx - Ive seen also northern tool has them available for order and they ship to europe. Its a shame we dont get all the stuff here in europe that is available in the us.
Impact swivels for example - no big deal in the us but here they are not very common and mostly very expensive compared to the us.

My post was only meant as humour, but that is interesting never-the-less. Why is it that the CA is not available in Eastern Asia?
it seems there are not many manufacturers of acetate plastics in the world . In the US iirc there are 2.
PB Swiss tool handle material is from the US too for example. One of the manufacturers: www.eastman.com

Yeah I wasn't really expecting them to be German for £16, but they appear to be of nice quality anyhow.

The clock of course is Italian only in name (I don't think it even says China on the back), but then it's only going to live on the garage wall. As I mentioned in the Hot Deals thread, I'll now know how cold I am as well as how slow I am.

I'm trying to figure out why all the Stanley tools I see posted in this thread that are sold in Europe are made in Europe, while most of the Stanley tools sold in the US are made in China. Something just doesn't seem right to me.

ok 16 pounds is not that cheap, these sets usually sell for 9,95 to 14,95 Euros from Metabo or Bosch-Green etc. iirc Hitachi set was 19,99. All seem to be very similar or identical....

Because the people posting them here only buy the EU made tools :D
There are plenty of Stanley tools sold here which are from China, Taiwan, Thailand and even Vietnam (sledge hammer). Very few "Made in England" and "Fabrication Francaise" are left (some knives, blades, tape measures and saws mainly). Some measuring tools are from England too and i saw nail irons "made in italy".

But there are plenty "Made in USA" tools from Stanley (if this websites is correct):

Well there you go -next time I go shopping I'll check with you first :) I'l keep the Gedore set in mind if I buy any more as well. I had seen the Wiha set but I was lured in by the added bling on the Metabo bit holder :D

Those Stanley made in England knives must be old stock as i'm almost sure they aren't made here anymore. I'm not sure any Stanley stuff is?

yes the newer ones don´t say "Made in England" anymore.
This one still says "Made in England" on the yellow part:

I'm look to purchase a new 1/2" socket set, and Carolus sets look pretty decent, but does anyone know where they are made?

Today's car boot finds - £2.50 for the lot. The Vessel T-handle has a slight bend in it, but I think I can get it straight. The small blue driver is marked Germany, but I can't (yet) make out a brand. the Sandvik and Facom are as new, the Spiralux nut spinner is in excellent shape as well with little if any signs of use.

My dad also grabbed a nice little Hazet deep offset A/F ring spanner for £0.30.

Yea this is much better. Dual speed more power. :)

Some of the new tools are made in Taiwan.

The rest hasn't a SOO so I don't know.

Yea, that's what i was afraid of. I just figured since they were part of gedore maybe they were made in germany.

Some of them are made in Germany. The bits for e.x or the torque wrenches or the swivel head handle with 1/4 drive. And of course these are the most pricey in the catalog.

Stanley made in England blades.

But not as good as those that monte has.

:)

The knife is from carolus. I'm still looking for a better one. I found a stanley knife which has "made in England blade inside" but not a soo.

They are inexpensive but very very good for their price. Yep not brand on all of them.

View media item 19734
I only abuse them and still hold very well, only the clip broke. Very nice for a 0.5 or 0.7 Euro tool.
Those Germans guys!!! They don't leave anything on luck. Especially when it's marked with "Germamy" as SOO.

A small Sam screwdriver from France, never seen much of the brand.

x29ekh.jpg

Picked up this Jacob cross-slide vice for € 5.00 - made in Taiwan, it came in a Perel branded box. The seller bought it some 15 years ago for 1976 Belgian Francs, or just short of € 50.00. Price tag was still on the box which he never even opened.
Will go nicely with the Delta DP220 I picked up for a score last week.

Finally a tool I hope not to use during the coming months, a Adlus snow shovel. Made - or at least assembled in Germany. Got it for free as the company I work for makes the Aluminium tube used in the handle, just like the ones in the Fiskars cutters posted by Phobo here.

Tang combination spanner 17 mm,
with Hazet 900 14mm socket and 24 mm PERG socket.

Ani information about PERG ? Country of origin? Quality ?

On socket write only: PERG 24 CHROM-VAN. :)... Looks serious.

That does look the same. I had another look at mine-definitely not "W. Germany", but appears to say "Germany Foreign" and no brand as you've noted.

lok, if those are your pictures, are you happy with the Carolus set?

The pictures are mine but the tools aren't. I bought them for a friend that needed a decent set for home use.
The only things that I have from carolus are 3 universal joints, 1/4 t-handle, 1/4 ratchet adapter and 5/16 bit adapter. I think that they are very nice tools for that price. I don't know how they stand in every day use but with that price you can't go wrong.

Somewhere in here you can find more photos from socket sets, ratchets and wrenches. I'll try to find them so not post them again.

Edit.. I' very satisfied from what i have from carolus so far.

Nice oiler! Resembles the current USAG 420! ;)
Actually it's from my father box..I don't know anything about this oiler, and thanks for the information.

that stubby wrench I think has no major brand name on it - just some name of the importer. Was a cheap ebay buy to see if I have any use for it.

In Germany bling might be rare (maybe not as rare as German comedy though?), but it definitely exists:

mercedes_300_sl_gullwing.jpg

Although there might be a long time between bursts of inspiration:

mclaren-mercedes-slr-roadster-05.jpg

But nobody out-blings the Italians - certainly not USA, China or Taiwan :D Maybe the Japanese come close with some stuff, but usually it's just more bizarre than bling :eyecrazy:
