nice antique tools !:bowdown:

....... or to the Stahlwille, Gedore or Hazet dealer :D ;)

I would love to do that, and have done that - but these tools are very expensive here, mainly because they only sell through professional stores. So if would buy a, say 13 mm wrench from Hazet, the price is around DKK 100,-. Thats 20$ or 14 Euro! If i was a blue-collar guy with an account, the discount would be like 40-50%. :sad:
I really like Hazet, so i have a few wrenches "600 N" type, and they are among my favorites. But the price was pretty awfull...

some tools of a former employer:

IMHO Proxxon has the most unconfortable selector lever for ratchets. GJ member Lok reminds me this, when i ask his opinion about the new Hazet ratchet. I own a 1/4 Proxxon socket set and the lever is always piss me off :Gun1:

Same prices "down here". So i'm buying 1-2 wrenches of 600N every 2 weeks. Hopefully in 2013 i will post my full line of Hazet 600N :lol_hitti

Spotted this over at my father-in-law's today. I think he was using it to open paint tins :)

Barely visible is the "Footprint" logo just to the left of "Made in England".

Nice. From a time, when "Made in England" and "Sheffield" or "Birmingham" meant top-of-the-line. Too few english tools on this board. :beer:

Monte if there is a plan to move the production overseas please tell it to me to buy as much as I can. :lol:

Ok I'll do my best. I'll buy German tools from Greek distributors to support both economies. But I need more money! :lol:

I used to have these. They are Italian Made. Beta has some wrenches made in Taiwan, but these tend to be bright chrome. The matt chrome wrenches like yours are Italian.

Do you see any coo on the package?

Some wrenches from around the (old) world...

You mean the Heyco or the Sadvik-Belzer? The Elora is in another photo. I like the Heyco. The Belzer is too glossy for my taste. The Heyco has excellent chrome quality. It's flawless!:rocker:

Yes I meant if you have more tools from Heyco and Belzer. If you have I like to see some more photos.

So you like the Heyco more than the Elora? I don't ask for the Belzer because they stop the production.
I don't mind the small defects from the forging but the chrome durability, the resistance to peeling, the fitment etc. Which one do you like the most? I have seen some Elora with good use and they hold very well.

Wow nice collection! I like the Netsuren. The Facom 40L is a long version I think? I haven't come across one of those before.

I do not know the quality standards of JIS B 4630 but NETSUREN open end spanners i have worked with are low quality. Maybe is the standards, but these spanners are too soft. I will post some photos to see what i mean.

About the chrome durability of Heyco i wil give a clue. I think Heyco is made 100% of chrome! No chrome peeling ... from chrome spanner. :D
The Elora spanner is excellent (in fact i'm looking to purchase a open-end set from this brand), but the Heyco is like new after at least 15 years. Maybe because is 21mm. Who the hell uses a 21mm spanner? :lol:
I will post some better pics to find out what i'm talking about.

P.S.1 Where do you bought this fantastic light? From Gedore dealer? This is ...:drool:

Seeing as everyone is posting their Gedore stuff, here's one I found at the tip some years ago.

23rtxye.jpg

A week later at the same place. Couldn't find the 8 mm and the 18 mm had a brawl with a lathe - and lost. No ratchet or extensions either.

2uy3uic.jpg

Nothing more to be brought home from there now, they've converted into a "recycling centre", complete with guards, errr I mean environmental officers and CCTV. :sad:

Some old spanners from Germany and France.

That's really cool. I have a similar one with drop-down panels on either side and a bin-type bottom. Yours looks really vintage though - I like it a lot. Whomever tossed that out should be shot.

I'm always amazed at the stuff I see chucked out at our tip, but have never spotted anything that good! (if I did I'd be bribing the guys to let me take it home)

"errrkkk" meaning you think it's not very good? In person they seem to be of fairly good quality, but I'm not terribly concerned either way considering I paid £1 and only bought them as a curiosity :)
And I thought I'd read (on GJ maybe) that the JIS stamp was missing from many newer Japanese tools because it had been largely superseded as a standard. Are those spanners older?
maybe:lol: for the £1 it's very good quality:thumbup:
You right! many Japanese tools today got no JIS stamp on the tools..but Japanese still stamp JIS their selected tools.:thumbup:

+1 to this Mr Tools,
:thumbup::beer:

Once again great pics. Keep shooting mr. :beer:
Great tools :drool::drool:
Thanks buddy:thumbup::beer:

uncle sam and samurai wrenches will follow :)...just difficult or impossible to find locally....

Thickness of open end:
1. 7 XL (thickest)
2. 1 B
3. 7
4. 7 UR (thinnest)
(There is only a little difference between the "7" and "7 UR" of about 0,1 to 0,3mm in thickness)
Great!! thanks for the answers :thumbup::beer:

OK, more old world, used tools...
Great used tools thanks to shared:thumbup::beer:

Thanks for the answer..It is a tradition..bought a Japanese machine and you got a Japanese made toolbox + wrenches, like you said German car with Heyco tool kits. I got 2 of my Netsuren when my company bought Yamada Dobby stamping press machine :D It a free gift set so the quality just OK:thumbup:

The Gedore ratchet it's not so old as i thought. You can find it in the new catalogue. The thing i want you to ask is where we can use this type of ratchet.

Probably it's an old type heavy duty ratcheting wrench. You can use it where ever you can use a ratcheting wrench. I guess. :D

Also ask your dealer a price for this elora stuff. :beer:

Unfortunately my dealer hasn't Elora. I had to go to another. I ask him about the price of ratcheting combination wrenches and he told me that he hasn't any in stock and that he will not make an order soon.

Ask about the price and told me that the person who is responsible for the prices wasn't there. He told me to leave my phone number to call me, I didn't. The last time that he told me the same never did.

I ask about Elora open end and gave me Eloford. Ask for Elora again and told me it's the same. Ok keep rocking man. :rocker:

You have to find a serious dealer. And if you make it please let me know. I need one two things.

:lol: shhhhhht it´s a secret

:lol: ok... :thumbup: :pimpflash

Thanks. :beer: I should look the sait better. :D

Mrtools you have a lot of great tools. Which one is your favorite combination wrench?

nice collection:drool::drool:

Thanks :)

That's susks:sad: But, on the other hand, it will be cheaper, right? :D

Not necessarily! The old gedore for e.g. wasn't cheap, and the new one is not too expensive compared with some made in Taiwan.

Swedish Bacho adjustable wrench and Japanese Minimo/Monitor

Man!!! You have great tools. Congratulation. :beer:

I was looking your photos again. These two gives me the impression that it has close to zero free play.

How do you compare it with the irega? They look the same!

This is funny, although you sure are right, and i can see the stamping, this doesn´t look like a Bacho to me. Bacho has always used a black phosfated look (that fades to a more bare metal-look over time) or the softhandle rubber-style, that was introduced in the late 90´s. But yours look really nice, though. Maybe I should add one to my Bacho-collection ...

Old Bacho (70´s) and even older Bacho (end 60´s)

Newer Bachos, just after the introduction of the "Ergo" concept - but still no soft handle:

Hazet 12" and Bacho 12" wrenches - The Hazet says "Germany" in the faded silk-screen printing, but well, that must be "From a warehouse in Germany"...

...Because, these are twins, or don´t you think? :dunno:

IUS = MOB Outillage

i guess the wrenches and sockets (the new glossy ones without "Germany"....) are from Taiwan nowadays ... (?)
Maybe only at the Bauhaus...? Maybe they have a second german line ....?? Bauhaus don´t want to pay anything for the Matador tools i heard......their prices are like 40% below list prices....

At the left: Classic style Matador ½" socket - matte/glossy finish. At right: New Matador socket. All glossy and knurled ribbon. Lower profile, these are both 30 mm metrics.

Different kind of stamping, and missing "Germany" text...:sad:

Probably it's an old type heavy duty ratcheting wrench. You can use it where ever you can use a ratcheting wrench. I guess. :D

I was email them but no answer.
