He wasn't very clued up but told me they were reverting back to how they used to be before Bunnings owned them which he said was more home furnishing focused rather than DIY. Not sure exactly how that will affect the tools section other than no longer selling Kincrome.

i was in last week and there are still some good deals to be had. Picked up some of the Kincrome sockets to fill some gaps are they seem fine so far. Also got the last UK made Stanley plane Blade on the rack in between all the Chinese made blades for half price (£6).

Ominously though, i see a lot of Silverline junk coming onto the shelves.

You could get it from DE amazon for £62 and if you used the free prime membership got it delivered fast for free, I think amazon caught on as now its just £84 from DE.

Pretty sure there's an error here its slapping on german tax of 19% then another 20% for british.
