But is everything there ? Since Ryan isn't using a View All option as the bandwidth costs too much, he has increased posts per page to 40 from the VB version of 25 (IIRC). This would account for the smaller total page count.Months ago I started reading this entire forum, all the way back. Not everything, but the topics that interested me. I was on page 2617 when the upgrade happened. If I remember correctly there was approximately 3300 total pages. Now there's only 2128 pages. I'm bummed. Happy with the upgrade otherwise, though.
oh boyyyyyyyy. scary stuff. A testament to the passion on this forum.I need a break, so let me give you some context...
My neighbor has had secret service stationed outside his property since early this year for reasons we won't break forum rules for. I don't like this neighbor much, but have grown to become pals with his secret service detail. They are good guys... interested in cars, tools, working... you know, real ****... I bring them coffee at least one morning a week.
Anyway, about a month ago they apprehended someone right outside my property. Was this some crazy political activist or the like? Nope. A banned Garage Journal member looking to get even.
So yeah... My mind tends to wonder every now and then.
Did you tweak the font again?
I have been unable to find my photo albums either. I rely on them for my photo hosting here. The photo's are showing up in posts I think but not being able to find the photo album I cannot use the photo stored there in a new post. Another feature of the old software was the ability to see posts started by me. I can see all posts though.Sorry Ryan, maybe it wasn't called garages. If you clicked on a username and it took you to their profile many people had photo albums in their profile showing either their shops, cars, etc. You could click on the individual photo albums and it would take you to multiple pictures inside of each album. Sorry if I can't remember the exact nomenclature of the feature. Hopefully by description you'll know what I mean.
Thanks.

Any way thanks for the new software and I'm sure that it will become comfortable to me in time.

Only problem I have is when I click on a thread I have not read yet, is that it doesn't take me to the first message but to some random post so I have to scroll to the top to see the first post in the thread.
This!!!
Sent from my iPhone using Garage Journal
At 76 I can now read posts from behind my keyboard (it's on a drawer-thing). I also really like the highlight/quote feature -- that is beyond cool.At 74
At 74, Love It! Don't have to put the glasses on!

no one is forcing you to stay here if you're not comfy...not sure of the change...it is VERY slow and using a Kindle tablet I am getting "too much memory" errors...I may be leaving because of it
I noticed. I like it better. It's super-legible. I might actually start using this as my desktop font.Yes. I am now playing with interstate regular. Working on density balance.

Clear the cache on your Kindle browser and close all unnecessary tabs. The site runs flawlessly on my 7 year old Samsung Galaxy S5 phone, so I don't see how it could be an issue on your Kindle unless it's positively ancient.not sure of the change...it is VERY slow and using a Kindle tablet I am getting "too much memory" errors...I may be leaving because of it
