Many Thx for the compliments
1) Ya, I'm a bike guy at heart but would be serving Beelzebub his / her? breakfast if I didn't stop riding at age 18. Zero self control. So now I snowmobile lol.
5) Thanks - it uses an Astron 70 Amp rms power supply that sits at 13.75 V, along with a Odyssey PC925 AGM battery out of the Mustang. Have one amp that I can't run full boogie - a Rockford Fosgate T2000...it has a 250 Amp ANL fuse built into it, meaning you can feed it 500A instantaneously without blowing the fuse. Hmmmmm.....
2) If you look closely, there is also a Punch 45HD (purchased brand new in 1991 while employed by Pioneer Electronics) on the left side of the Orion HCCA225....which in my 40 yrs of installations is by far the sweetest sounding car amp ever built. It's a factory redesign of their initial GX280 with radically reduced rail voltage and some other tricks incl better caps etc. They are amazing for low impedance setups, especially with passive crossover networks and three channel operation. Have about6 of those, as well as some 250s and one 425, a 280, a 240 and three SX250s in the bullpen for the car build. About 16 Rockford amps and then a bunch of MTX, US Acoustiscs and then some japanese stuff like Pioneer, Kenwood etc.
3) They will be for sale eventually, but shipping them would be atrociously expensive. I do come out to Detroit a few times per year, have customers and my buddy Dean Martin / Kohr Motorsports in Livonia.....I have 10s and 12s; a pair of Rockford Punch HX2 DVCs RFD2212 - one is BNIB, the other is minty and being used on the test bench. Those are for sale for sure, gonna be $350 ish for the pair, they are dual 4 Ohm 3" voice coils, 500 W rms each speaker. Heavy.
4) I wish I had a real list; but as I'm cleaning up downstairs, one may appear. I have an ADS Powerplate 40 from around 1988 in stock.
So much stuff, I forget a lot of it. Focal, MB Quart, Amega.....
