Both of the items I bought got back-ordered, one until 8/26, the other until 9/3. Dammit.
This comes after the big drill press I ordered back on 7/28 STILL has not been delivered! They shipped it via a freight outfit in Oakland. The first delivery window was last week Thursday from 1-3, no one ever showed up, emailed or called. I was pissed. I tried phoning the shipping company but a human never answered. I did get a B.S. email reply that was non-committal to a delivery date/time. After calling Zoro they intervened on my behalf and got a hold of someone, they rescheduled delivery for yesterday from 11-1. I got a call from Zoro about 10am, my drill press 'did not make it onto the delivery vehicle'. Now I am really friggin pissed. Rearranged my schedule twice to be here for the lift gate delivery. I was considering cancelling the order because the shipper didn't know when they would make it up here for delivery. Zoro called me around noon to let me know they had spoken to the manager and delivery would be today between 10-2. Great, a friggin' 4 hour window where I can't get much accomplished because I have to stay here. I'm already angry about this sh!tty shipper they chose to use, then both of the items I ordered get back-ordered 2-3 weeks. I think I will reconsider any future orders from Zoro, not a happy camper at all.
