Just got a text for $10.00 in points with a $20.00 purchase.
Is the Craftsman 5 pc. Scraper Set still Made by Wilde in the USA or is just the 3-Piece set now? The Craftsman lettering between the 5-Pc and 3-Pc look different.
$29.99
It was $26.99 yesterday
Edit: I just received my 15" adjustable wrench from Sears. Same packaging as usual, only a small square piece of foam along with the wrench and receipt were enclosed, lol

^ ^ ^ Yeah, we dog on Sears sometimes but . .
. . . . those adjustable wrenches (Made In USA) are really nice.
I've got 10" and 12" already and they are super tight. Well worth the money.

Check the package. USA and some have said Chinese replacements are showing up I believe.

I got the 5 piece set about 5 weeks ago and was expecting COO China but was pleasantly surprised made in USA... BUT the first box I received only had 4 tools not 5 ...big surprise.
Hello all. I am new to this forum. I have desperately needed to expand my tool cart for many years. My financial situation has prevented me from doing so, but things have changed slightly as of now. I have a 26 inch Craftsman rolling cart that is 18 inches deep with 8 drawers. The drawers are 16" deep. I would like the following linked below. My cart is 18 years old and not in production anymore obviously. But I can grind off a bit of the front angle pieces which would allow the following chests to fit. It won't compromise structural integrity and the spot welds would not be touched.

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-edge...p-00940762000P?prdNo=8&blockNo=8&blockType=G8
This would hopefully accommodate most of my tools, but I am not paying these outrageous prices. I can't find any other manufacturer that makes intermediate and top chests at a more reasonable price. I need them now, as I have inherited a LOT of tools, but I can wait 3-4 months for a sale or a great coupon, especially Father's Day time. Can anyone advise me as to when I could buy these items for the cheapest price possible??? I don't know when the best sales occur at Sears, or when the best coupons come out. Thank you for your time!!!
So I got my 15" adjustable wrench delivery today from Sears. There was about a 3" hole in the side of the package, and oh the box is empty....
Mine came today and the bag had hole and was empty, then i noticed another box. The box had the wrench and the bag had the return slip. I thought for sure it fell it or the UPS stole it. LOLSame here, except for my 15" adjustable was just barely holding on to the inflatable packing wrap inside the box, the only thing keeping it from flying out the gigantic hole on either end. The wrench was a little beat up on the handle end, but not terrible - it's a tool, not a piece of fine china.
USA made.
I would argue these newer Western Forge made in USA Craftsman adjustables are as good as *any* previous versions from the past. Certainly fit and finish is outstanding. But alas, these two are China now... You can still get them in SK version though from Western Forge when the Sears stock runs out of any US ones left. - Paul
Anyone able to upload pics of the new Chinese versions of the adjustable wrenches so we can compare to the USA versions?
Mine came from Richmond, VA.. Couple hours east of me. They were nicely wrapped in a small boxWhich Sears fulfillment center/store did you guys get your wrenches shipped from?
The box was delivered, but there was a whole in it and the wrench was missing. Called customer service and they wanted to wait until got the box back to issue a refund and then I could reorder it. Will call again shortly to get it reordered. I can't stand their customer service.

Haha my driver looked in his truck and couldn't find it. Seems like the shipping hubs may have lots of NOS craftsman tools. That is exactly what happened to me, only they went ahead and issued me a refund when I told them I could send them pictures of the box and mentioned the poor packaging. After two online chats and one call I have to wait for a refund, then I can reorder. I did get the lady to agree on the call to honoring the original price I paid and not whatever the online price is at the time of reordering.
Sears is crappy at times (more often than not) but with all the points and coupon codes one can only get so mad and distraught when dealing with Sears. Be polite, yet firm and they should make things right.
Remind me not to get into a road rage incident with a delivery truck driver from a Garage Journal heavy area. Chances are they may have a 15" forged adjustable Craftsman wrench under their seat.

Mine was from a local Sears about 15 minutes away and not from a warehouse.
Thanks, that's definitely a warm welcome. Are they made by Wilde? What does the P stand for on this set?
Pretty sure they are made by Wilde ... not sure what the "P" stands for. I'll check my archive and see what I can find ..if I find something I'll post it.
Missing items, broken items, wrong items, or even someone else's returned items.
I have noticed that most of these problems occur when a Sears store is responsible for shipping the order.

I recently received a 36 in. pry bar (USA) from Sears. There's a "P" on the handle, and the box says "Wilde Tool Co."
Ordered that 15 inch adjustable on the 10th- still says processing for pickup, no estimated date, not a single order confirmation email, nothing.
