They “deposited” $65 worth of points into my account today, so the $231 on my impact set is now $166.

I’ve been looking at other impact socket sets in 3/8. Sunex has a comprehensive 3/8” set including universals for $159 and one similar to the gear wrench kit for $70. I own a few Sunex universals for 3/8 and 1/2, they seem well made. The problem with some of this is that if I go with Sunex or Gearwrench in 3/8 I’ll want their master sets in 1/2” standard and metric too, costing me another $250. I really like the range of those Sunex 1/2” sets, out to 1-1/2”. The last time I was installing a hitch ball on my truck I needed 1-1/4” that I didn’t have

Looking at this again, I could get all the Sunex to be equivalent to the sears set for $258 but with expanded range on the 1/2” by 3 sockets standard, 2 sockets metric (plus 10 sockets total), and losing only the 3/8” drive 1/4” sockets

If I have any doubts with the sears set, back it goes.

Glad this works out for you

I have 3/8 and 1/4 metric Sunex impact sockets. I like them a lot. The sockets look good and seems well built.

Has anyone gotten any coupons at the bottom of their online orders in the last couple of weeks? I could generally count on getting some every other order, at least... but I've got nothing from any order since June 10th.

No, they have really dried up. Someone mentioned they shifted their ad monies from coupons and surprise points to actual ads. I know I have seen a number of ads on YouTube.

Have to let everyone know they are still (barely) alive, and Lowe's didn't swallow them up already

I placed an order on 6/26, and I received a $7 off $35 (exp 7/10) & a $10 off $40 (exp 7/26), and another inconsequential to tools coupon. OOP was $0

Argh, I totally forgot to look at my old emails before placing my last order... Oh well...

Last ones I had were from a Jun 6 order! These codes will expire July 6th, and I don't plan on ordering anything before then so maybe someone else can use them. I would expect them to be one-time use codes, but don't know if they are locked to my account or not.

These neeever go on sale except for the overall 10% off things, but here they are 14% off right now:
Greenlee Cable Cutter with Dipped Grip
https://www.sears.com/greenlee-cable-cutter-with-dipped-grip/p-00913375000P
$22.31 online sale, $25.99 regularly, should be available in-store at many locations

I bought them several months ago at full price (all covered by points/offers). Good stuff.

Just fyi, if you are thinking about buying this, then you should. I picked mine up. These are nice and heavy and look well built. When I was picking this up, another customer notice what I bought, and he picked it up from the counter and take a look for a bit, and seemed impressed.

EDIT: does anyone notice that if you leave something in your cart, and log back in the next day, the item is removed from your cart? I just notice this over the weekend.

The only big company that likes to dump my cart is zoro. As long as I am signed in I have never noticed anything leaving at sears. Those boots look really nice, always appreciate new ideas.

If I log in on another computer, it will pull my cart contents up. maybe something to do with cookies.

I have a pair of both after getting tired of wrecking my work boots doing things in the morning dew. I also use a backpack sprayer, and don't worry about residue transfer as can just spray them off.

I definitely prefer the non-steel toe, but I use them in a farm setting, so I got the steel just in case. Only negative to me on the non-steel is the camo pattern on top, but otherwise as I'll probably get another pair at this price.

Order I got in at almost the last minute Monday night (had about $3.50 of points expiring 7/2):

Knipex 9 1/4" End Nipper Pliers
http://www.sears.com/knipex-9-1-4-in-end-nipper-pliers/p-00929116000P
$18.83 sale, $25.99 regularly (the lowest I'd seen before was $20.**, and for a while these weren't available at all)

Milescraft AccuDrillMate
http://www.sears.com/milescraft-accudrillmate/p-00932961000P
$32.43 sale, $34.49 regularly (the lowest I'd seen before was $31.**)

I've had both of them on my wish list for a while, but they require ship-to-home, and it's been hard for me to make that work without too much OOP for me since they raised the minimum back to $35. With my last decent coupon from before the drought ($10 off $40, expiring 7/8, that I received back on 6/8), and the points I've been able to accumulate recently, I got it down to about $3 total OOP.

After reading way too many reviews of the AccuDrillMate and the small number of similar competing drill guides (including a General Tools one that has also previously been sold as a Craftsman rebrand), over the past few months, I'd decided that it was the best-reviewed of the options. Now that I've finally managed to order it, I'm hoping to use it on a minor shelf project, and it should be good to have on hand for future needs.

And this is the first Knipex item I've actually ordered. I could've put in something a few dollars cheaper to pair with the AccuDrillMate to still reach $35 after the coupon, but since it was a couple dollars lower than I'd made note of seeing before, I decided to go for it. Still hoping to be able to justify a Pliers Wrench one of these days. ;)

I still need to buy something cheap on Tuesday to not lose my $5 off $5 that couldn't be combined with coupons, but I decided to let the bigger order go first since I was at the most points I've had at one time in a while, and more would've been expiring every day I waited.

I haven't gotten any via email from orders in quite a while, but after I sent the text to get the free $10 Sears in-store, and spent it, I received another text the next day with a $10 off $25 (40%) coupon good for a week. What's odd is that it didn't get added to my account - I can't see it anywhere under coupons or freecash - but the code works when I enter it manually.

This seems to be part of a new series, as it started with that "Sears Welcome Day 1" text, and I received a Sears Welcome Day 2 text today.

Some offers are like that. If you got the FreeCash from shopping in-store at Sears in May, it printed a coupon with code that either had to be scanned in store, or entered online. It never appeared in your account, only proof was the slip of paper.

I have that Knipex - agree that is a great deal  I am adding that AccuDrillMate to my list - I been looking for one, so thank you

I posted this on the other thread too. Here is something to use for $5 freecash:

Thanks for the 7/4 expiration date on that texting opportunity, atlm. I haven't done it yet, will try it either tonight or tomorrow morning.
Update: Tried it... just got the dud link to the generic coupons page, and no offer yet. I'll try it again in the morning.

SuperXero, I think it is automatically "linked to your account" if you texted in from a phone number that is registered on your account. Check your offers list at https://www.shopyourway.com/freecash

Here's another couple of good deals for anyone else trying to use one of the $5 offers tonight...

Irwin Fast Retrieve Chalk Reel with 4 oz. Blue Chalk
https://www.sears.com/strait-line-marking-tools-fast-retrieve-chalk-reel/p-00937703000P
$5.13 sale, $9.99 regularly

Stanley 16 ft. Leverlock® Tape Rule
https://www.sears.com/stanley-16-ft-leverlock-reg-tape-rule/p-00939304000P
$5.02 sale, $8.99 regularly

Text FREECASH to 73277. I think this ends 7/4.

I did this while in store. The promo page said it was good until 7/7 in-store, and good on clearance. I bought a craftsman sharpening stone & 1/4" Jacobs key i didn't need to hit the $10. Checked my receipt walking out, and sure enough the offer didn't apply. Knowing not to futz with store help, I called in on my way home, and they put $10 on the account. He said they a few calls regarding this.

I told another couple about this offer as I was checking out, hope it works for them.

Weird. :headscrat FWIW, I placed a small order on Sears.com about 7 hours after your attempt on Tuesday, and the option to redeem points was in its usual place and worked fine.

It is possible to order Sears items through shopyourway.com (with the same points/offers applying as they should have on Sears.com), maybe try that if you can't get Sears.com to work right.

It was user error and my own stupidity!
Got them for $3.03 OOP and selected in car pickup to get the $10 point offer. Hopefully those will last till my next installment from the C3 battery so I can grab a pair of CV boot pliers.

I pretty certain you need to spend $10 OOP for the in-vehicle promotion.

Well, I don't think the $14.40 price I've previously shared is coming back, but I noticed Slickdeals is going nuts over it for $24.

Dura Power 50ft. 12/3 Locking Plug Extension Cord $26.67 - 10% FIREWORK code = $24.00

I started looking at their products after seeing a multi-position oil wrench from them, and liked the sound of their name :lol_hitti

Does any one know of any other manufacturers that has the more odd-ball products through Sears?

I'm stocked on Knipex, Bully Tools, Wera, and of course plenty of Cman. Almost got this Superior Tools 1-1/2 wrench, until I figured out that is the pipe size (not the nut)

You could try OTC, Astro Pneumatic, Klein, Greenlee, Lisle, Gearwrench, EZ Red, KD Tools, Crescent, Irwin, Vim, Wilha, Kastar, General Tools & Instruments, Fowler... and I'm sure I'm forgetting plenty.

What you can also do is search for a type of tool... then click on the "Sears Only" tab (so you exclude "Marketplace" sellers")... then look at "Refine Your Search" on the left... and scroll through all the manufacturers under "Brand".

Sears actually drop-ships a whole lot of different brands.

Anyone try Innova or Maxxworks?

In the unlikely event anyone here was planning on spending this much in the next 27 hours, there's another texting offer that ends tomorrow 7/5... text FREEDOM to 73277 (SEARS) to hopefully receive a $100 off $500+ freecash surprise points offer.

I never did get the $10 texting offer myself, and now the texting system is either ignoring me or broken (update: it revived several hours later, but still no $10), but hopefully this one will work for someone.

Got a response indicating the 100 off 500; but the link just directed me to the coupons page... No freecash offer appeared.

Make sure you are charged the correct amount when you place an order! Fortunately I took a screen shot before I clicked on "place order." Order showed the total as $156.99, and then I clicked submit and saw I was charged almost $190. 10 minutes on chat, and supposedly, I will receive credit for the difference. I have noticed however, that when they say they will credit me, it doesn't happen until I "chat" multiple times. I then noticed this morning that my "$125 cash back" was not awarded. Tried chat with 2 different people and was told that I needed to email my screen shot, and then call to get them, so frustrating.

A Sears rep on chat actually suggested I refuse to accept my order. I just got off the phone and was told, even though it says "0" cashback points awarded, that I would receive my points after my items ship. I know that won't happen!

Same thing happened to me a while back. Didn't apply any of the freecash or points that showed on the final order confirmation screen, the first day or two the order showed correct in my order history, then when they shipped, the points and freecash dropped off and my card was charged full price. I called, and they said they couldn't adjust, just had to return the orders and re-buy. Since then I print the order confirmation screen.

I ordered two times when the $125 and $50 offers were going on, with both ship to store.

The first order came in to the store in about 3 or 4 days, and credited me no points. The second one hasn't came in yet, but credited me the $50 + $15 and shows the rest as pending for future months.

I called on the first order, and they said the points wouldn't credit until I picked it up. I was waiting to pick both up at once, but went down and picked up the first anyway. Sure enough, they credited the points when I picked it up. The orders were for identical items; and were placed within 15 minutes of each other. Yet, the points credited entirely different ways. The whole ordering system is just so messed up it's amazing.

Indeed. BTW, don't bother with the offer that's been displayed during the checkout process since at least Monday, claiming that you'll get $25 back in SYW points if you pay using a Mastercard through the Masterpass service. Nobody's been able to get it to work all week, and both chat and phone reps say they know nothing about the offer and can't/won't do anything about not getting those points.

Hey everyone, my first post. I am showing the 2.5 inch hose pinch pliers as available. I can't post the link because I have less than 5 posts but it was linked earlier in this thread.

I just picked this from local store, 12 in square, still made in US
https://www.sears.com/craftsman-12-...SellerId=Sears&prdNo=6&blockNo=6&blockType=G6

Question, I will be passing by one of the Sears outlet, and according to their website, they have this Dewalt Metric Ratcheting Flex Head wrench. I have Dewalt regular wrench and like it. I have tried looking for a review, but have not find one. Worth buying at $36 (OOP $10)? Or I should just get a GearWrench?

https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-...BEgIlkfD_BwE&dclid=CLe2kqm2jNwCFRu5TwodqlII3g

I know the link goes to homedepot. For whatever reason, I can not paste a link to SearsOutlet website.

There you go. Thanks, I've been wanting 2 of those for the longest time, but never seem to catch them instock. With the $10 off $40 that was expiring today it made them $14.99 each, which I used points to pay.

I was using a Craftsman version of the flex head ratcheting wrench set to work on my 1981 Ford E-150 yesterday. I’m not a fan of those except for just a couple specific circumstances.

I did order a couple of each of these in standard and metric:
