It's all good because she hasn't used the building since I built it.
Tell her you're going to start inviting the guys over to drink beer and watch baseball in it. She might suddenly get motivated to use it.Don't feel bad, I knew she would do that. She does the same thing with almost everything she asks me to build.
She sees something on Pinterest and decides she has to have it, so I bust my **** building or making it and she either doesn't use it or she sells it. Go figure.

cause I "think" I'm done with it

But as any married man knows, when the wife watches to many of those HGTV or DIY shows she gets too many ideas
So with a lot of arguing and saying no, I started on her she shed![]()
haha, well said, I'm just one of those wives haha, well said, I'm just one of those wives

My husband and I are inspired by mini-houses - when the inside is a transformer house and everything is interchangeable - a kitchen table, bed, bedside tables.
You have a very cute house.

She'll start using it, then realize she needs more room, you'll try to extend it by making a Lady's Lean-to, but will eventually have to extend it into a She-shop. At that point, you have to be careful, because after that is the B****, er, Babe Barn...![]()
I'm going through this right now. I put up a 1200 sq ft building 2 years ago and my wife suddenly decided she needs a building of her own for her garden stuff. I told her to pick part of the pole barn, but she refused.
She's putting up a ridiculously expensive 10x16 shed. It's timber-framed and has hand sawn hemlock floors. WTF? - It's a storage shed. I'm hands-off on this one.
She could have built it for 50% of what she's going to end up paying. It's her money, but I hate to see it get wasted. I hate HGTV.![]()

I asked if she wanted A.C. and she said no.

I know how you feel. I built my kids a nice 8x12 playhouse that's 13' tall with a loft over the porch, a custom dutch front door, and full size rear door. They used it maybe 20 times in the 5 years it's been built. I've thought long and hard to replace the rear door with a double door so I can store lawn equipments in it.

Cool 3rd dog house! I like the build and the brick fireplace and veneer sides. It's projects like yours that keeps the skills and dexterity going...never loose the ability! Good job!
Looks like a great place to hang out with the guys and watch motorsports on the tv great job on the shed.
Actually it is, had some guys over to watch the Texas vs OU game not that long ago and with all the screaming and yelling at the tv it was nice to be out there so the wives could gab in the house.
